Hey guys,

With the pricing of the stage 1 FI Interchiller at nearly $1700, I'm looking into some other avenues.

Would someone that has purchased the FI Interchiller mind giving me a list of all parts with details? Core size and type, hose lengths, size of hoses, hose ends, valves, etc, etc..... Maybe even some photos of the component if you have any? I'll dig through some photos on the web as well to see what I can figure out, but any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'm going to see how involved it would be to piece a kit together myself. I believe I can put one of these kits together for way less than $1000, possibly under $500.

With respect- This is the exact reason why Kirk doesn't want his customers sharing all of his time and effort into making a product........ Sure, you can build a house cheaper by piecing it together and doing it yourself but I doubt you're gonna find people that are going to hand over the material list and build plans. I understand your side of things but I don't think you'll find anyone that's unhappy with the FI kit even considering the price. Some things are just worth it. This is one of them.

Kirk is also a tremendous amount of help before and after the sale of his product. I can't stress enough the value in that, especially if you aren't very knowledgeable in these setups (the how's, why's, do's and dont's)....I sure wasn't. Its not rocket science but there is a TON of things that are covered in his instructions that are important to making it all work properly.

Appreciate your input.

My buddy has a Trackhawk and has Kirk's chiller and he said the same about Kirk's customer service. That does speak volumes, but I'm just trying to do a kit myself because of the cost. My buddy also said, after I posted this thread, that we can pull his bumper on the TH if I want and get a parts list together off his kit and use his instructions off his thumb drive, so this may be what I end up doing. I just can't justify spending nearly $1700 for this kit, knowing that my buddy got it 6 months ago for $1100. That just pushes me more to just build one myself.
