I think this is the first time I've seen a fully covered vehicle on an open transport
They have a plastic film protection on the paint too underneath the cover.Depending upon how much dust/dirt were trapped under those covers when they were installed at the factory, I would worry that they may actually cause more light scratches in the paint.
.
This white plastic started with the C7 but only been a couple years. As far as I know, they transport all C8's this way. I don't know if they did this with previous generations though.
If this happened in the challenger world, we'd see guys driving around with the covers still on the car (and slits to see out the windows)...and they'd reinstall the yellow splitter protectors over the coverYes! & that's how they should transport HELLCATS as well!!!
I know right?!…I hate when I get any speck of dust on my carDepending upon how much dust/dirt were trapped under those covers when they were installed at the factory, I would worry that they may actually cause more light scratches in the paint.

That may be because the driver took it for a joyride and had it scratched and had to take it to a cheapo depot body shop to fix it up.Glad they are doing them that way. First time I ordered one back in 2005, on the transport they went by somewhere that painting was going on and my black car got fine misted with white overspray.
always a scandal going on....That may be because the driver took it for a joyride and had it scratched and had to take it to a cheapo depot body shop to fix it up.
That is how my 337 came in when I worked for VW of AmericaAudi and VW have been doing that for years.
