They have an insane amount of JB orders and they are being prioritized.
I don't know it thats true or not. Im sure there are more orders than expected for 2 shifts to produce. It also has to be a pain to acquire all the " bling" for each JB, put it all together in a nice pile for it to finally be built. That has to take more tome that Dodge didnt anticipate fully. If you have ordered, have a VON and BX , you should be built but we know that isn't necessarily the case. I'm more confident that mine will than not but I also expect 6 months to go by.

Well I've placed one and I've seen on the FB forum 2 other orders placed. There has been nothing from Dodge since the notice on SS and REWB being removed. The JB is still on the Dodge ordering software unlike the SS or REWB. So is the HCWB as of last night.

Per industry norms, most orders are received in the 1Q after production begins. When I was working in the auto sales industry, we'd easily do 75% of our orders between January and April if new model production began in December. The factories usually do intentionally late model year options updates to try and pull more orders in in 2Q-3Q. We'd pull in a few more later in the year, but they never really amounted to more than 25-30% of our overall presold orders. So, it's not unheard of for a manufacturer to put a hold on new orders if their 1Q orders are so high that they're fully allocated prior to the late model year update cycle. They want to save some capacity to output some of the late year cars. In our case, this is primary going to be the yellow color addition.

I agree they have higher than expected orders so far and all the rumors has turned into a frenzy. I don't see the yellow being that big a deal though if Sublime was to come back, I'd have to order one for sure.

I'm still not convinced Stellantis is going to allow Dodge a "special" edition, since they're trying to brand the EV and i6 as spiritual successors. There's a much higher degree of chance that the 2024 model will have a launch edition. 2023 is a short production year, so there's not a whole lot of time to configure for a special edition with a bunch of new paint colors. Remember, the production year in 2023 on these cars ends in June/July.
