Just got our Redeye. Need to install the Swaim splash guards. I saw somewhere in one of the manuals jacking positions for a floor jack but now I cannot find it. Can someone point me to the proper locations to jack up the car using a floor jack?

I believe you might need (or at least will want) pucks. ;)

There are locations along the outer rail for the car jack. That did not come with the car. Only a fill kit. I am not talking about those points. There are other internal frame support locations that were on a book page somewhere. Can't find it but those are the locations I am interested in.

Look under the car and you'll see where. It's on the inside of where the cutout is at the pinch rail. Whatever you do don't jack it up at the pinch rail

No I wouldn't use that rail. I looked under the car. Just not 100% sure. I have done this all my life but these new bodies are pretty specific as to proper locations. As I previously posted, there is a page in a book somewhere that pointed out front and rear locations. The rears and fronts do not line up with each other.

You don’t need to buy anything to jack the car up. There is a pad in front of the rear tire, jack it there first. You can then easily slide a jack under the frame rail up front

Ok, I take it back…

Some people prolly oughta buy a dozen of those zl1 jack pads to get the car in the air

I believe you that you actually jacked it up by the plastic tank. Hard to believe you publicly disclosed it tho?

I didn't put the jack pads on just for myself. I put them on for when I take it to the shop and they put it on the lift. Without them they'll usually just lift it on the pinch weld and risk cracking the rocker panels.

Dude, using lift incorrectly doesn’t actually crack the plastic…

We all just told our ole ladies that so they would let us buy our own lifts : )

It’s not that crazy. The first time that I looked under the car and saw how close the jack points are to the only place on the rail you can put a stand I knew it was gonna be fun : )

*A Narrow low pro jack comes in handy

My surprise is mostly because there was 500 writeups about it in 2014/2015.
