Don’t say 10; but what is the difference between my Redeye 797 hp engine and the 807 hp one?
There is no difference. They just measure 100rpm higher to get the extra 10. If you look closely the 797 is measured at 6300rpm and the 807 is at 6400.

owns 2020 Dodge Challenger Redeye
Not that it matters, but, according to Dodge the Stage 1 raises the HP of the Red Eye to 835 HP (a 38 HP Gain).
If we apply the 38 HP gain to the advertised power rating we get:
Red Eye 797 + 38 = 835
Super Stock 807 + 38 = 845
Theoretically dyno readings for both would be identical @ 812 + 38 = 850 HP (y)
IIRC the Redeye and the Super Stock actually produce the same HP. I think that the Redeye was tested @ 6200RPM and the Super Stock was tested @ 6300RPM. Dodge PR shadiness.

Marketing: Giving the consumer what they want and extracting maximum profit from it! (My personal definition.)

Dodge has announced the end is near. This is not a problem, it is an opportunity!

Give the customer everything they want, anything they want, better yet, what they don’t even know they want!

We are looking at the last 2 years of production (some think 3) and it is time to milk every $ out of the old platform, and the people who do it best will advance in Stellantis. Nothing personal, it’s just business.

I predict that 2023 will be full of overpriced, over-optioned “collector” cars, including a special edition M6 for a ridiculous price. These 2023’s will appeal to the broad market (as opposed to us lowly gearheads) driving the prices to what only an idiot (or stupid wealthy) person would pay.

My plan is to grab 2022 RE and hoping for the best. Keeping the ’20 M6 also! (The first new car I have ever had that has actually increased in value!) :):)

Ill proudly stand in the idiot column to have what will likely be the only new car I’d ever let myself buy and have it EXACTLY the way I want it!! Give me the dunce hat and point me to the corner I’m supposed to sit in! 🤣

Then again I’d never sell it. No matter the value. Just like the Viper 😀

I stand corrected! :) I guess the target market is bigger than I thought!

I'm hoping, but not according to #HellcatJesus

Don't you worry, It will be available real soon. See the first screenshot below.

The second screenshot verifies that the first screenshot is true because the price of Sinamon Stick is a $395 paint option for 2022, while in 2021, it was a $0 paint option.

Oh sorry. The lag or lay down the computer causes between shifts. It is especially bad when the car is running exceptionally well. It seems like the computer is saving the tranny from a monster shift or something. Some people who are really serious about drag racing have even traded out vehicles because of that flaw some of them absolutely hate. For me, either it gets fixed or it could potentially be fatal. It is embarrassing to go up straights on road courses and my head gets tired of hitting itself on the wheel when it hesitates between shifts. Too many vehicles on the market now that are excellent in this price range to put up with it.

Dodge knows darn well we don’t like it. We had a thread going a couple of weeks ago. We are hoping if we give them $3,000+ for a tune, it will shift as expected. Let’s hope even Stage 1 fixes it. We will know if it works soon! It should have not done it from the factory, but every one of us who reports it, gets the same answer. It is normal.
Toque management at it finest. Keeps them from having to warranty out drivetrain components.
