Apparently you bought a regular Hellcat Jailbreak, not a Redeye Jailbreak. And no not only Super Stock (not Super Sport) has the 807 hp. Redeye JB has it too. Gotta be a Redeye.
People really need to do just five minutes of research before running out and buying something they know nothing about. Especially for what these cost now?

When go into Dodges Website, the only car that can be ordered with the 807 is the Super Stock. The Red Eye Jailbreak has 797. At least that's what they currently show.

Widebody RE has 807. Standard body has 797.

797 and 807 are the same thing. They just measured at different RPMs. If you're worried about the 10hp, add a catch can and a pistol grip shifter.

OP has 717, not 797. Thought it was an 807 Jailbreak when they bought it. Shitbag dealer outright lied. Wow. Even so, I go in knowing more about what i’m buying than the dealer does every time. When I bought mine, the dealer had no idea what a Superstock was. I had to explain it to him SMH. This is what happens if you go in blind like this.

I’d bring it back then if they really told you that. But a redeye JB has a redeye on the hellcat fender badges, a black plaque on the supercharger lid, green belt, and a red eye on the instrument cluster when it starts up. Also the uconnect will say 807hp. Also the IP badge will have a red eye.

Problem is not everyone knows any of that lol.

We had extensive conversations with the GM, sales manager, and the salesman about HP. That's how we ended up looking on the Dodge site and saw the attached. So honestly we didn't know we had to research further. View attachment 633836

Yeah most of the dealers are clueless and the site is even worse. How would you know that though? I can see how that happened. The best information you will get is on a forum like this. It’s a shame you didn’t join here before you bought the car. Hey, at least you got a car that you really like anyway and it’s no slouch.

The late model 717hp Hellcats have an open element filter now as well. I don't know what model year the change occurred, but it may have been 2019. The Jailbreak vent badge on the standard cats has a red eye as well. I assume because it's tiny and Dodge decided not too add manufacturing expense over such a minute change.

Pretty sure it was 2019 along with the new hood.

My 2019 narrowbody non-jailbreak completely normal charger hellcat had an closed airbox.

Charger. I think the 2019+ Challenger got the open airbox. Someone correct me if not.
