This is my second Hellcat and thus far neither have been easy or even possible to launch. I could launch the Scatpack and then the 1320 was super easy to launch.
Does anyone have any advice on how to best launch a Jailbreak or Redeye even without it just sitting still and burning out?? TIA!

Silly question but have you tried launch control?

Forget the on-board Launch. Drive with both feet, rpm to about 1,000 to 1,200, let go of the brake and accelerate at a rate that does not break the tires loose.

Drag radials make a world of difference even on the street. Actually makes the power almost usable.
My problem with the drag radials is I do use my car for road trips to see the family over the holidays...so they must be able to handle potential cold/ice/snow as well......which is why I am pretty much relegated to the Michelin Pilot series...............(not severe cold weather mind you, just whatever shows up between VA & FL)

I’ve been a “lookie lou” since ordering a Jailbreak Challenger that was never built.
Yes, using launch control. This thing is rated to do 0-60 at 3.45 but that’s insanely impossible with stock tires and 807HP. I’ve set the custom options to sport suspension and sport steering in hopes of softening the launch. This is why the 1320 is a master at hooking off the line, drag tuned suspension keeps the tires planted nicely.
The Jailbreak just doesn’t launch…. Hoping someone knows how because I’m lost here.

You can do good on the OEM Pirelli all-season tires if you do everything perfect. I managed a 60' time of 1.599 with them. I was the first car on the track after MIR's legendary track prep.

When I’m running on the street and want to play I use custom mode with street suspension, street traction and sport trans. This typically keeps the stock tires from going up in smoke from a stop.

these cars do not have launch control
i can’t imagine they took it away. Doesn’t open up until 500 miles on the clock though. Also note that to do it properly requires enough pressure on the brake pedal than you think you need. The car literally reads the brake pressure and launch control won’t engage until you are past the threshold.

These cars have a launch feature, but launch control it is not. In fact it couldn't operate further from what is considered launch control by industry standards and does nothing to improve traction.
