He said he submitted the order and now we are waiting on a VON.

How long does that take generally?

If you're sitting next to them while they submit the order it takes about 1 second for the VON to show up on the screen. I suspect you ordered from sales person who will have a manager input the order.

Sunroof/moonroof was not available for order today are you sure you selected that option?

Hmmmm....I ordered over the phone. They gave me the option for Moonroof, now I am wondering if they messed up...

Well if it's the same as mine, manager has to input the order into the system on behalf of the sales rep and the customer.

Yeah I did the deposit 2 months before and in order banks day I texted him and called by phone to sales rep a few times to get the order going and he said he got the info to the manager and then he had to leave for the day so over the next two days I was just following up to see if the manager did it and my sales rep checked and he said the manager did as he promised he would. This was for my HC challenger though but should be same.

Moon roof?? Didn't think that was available. I'd ask him to email you a copy of the order, if it was placed, should be available immediately.

Exactly. I sat with the Sales Manager and the Salesman I have been dealing with for a few months this morning to enter the order. The manager had full control over ordering.

Gilgamesh - I ordered mine today identical to yours (except the Brass wheels). He asked me over the phone if I wanted the sunroof as well. I'll check with him tomorrow. I was looking for a pic of the Charger Hellcat with the sunroof. I was flipping back and forth on the wheels and finally decided on black. Not sure if I mad the right choice

Ya, When I ordered mine this morning I was also given the option of the moonroof but decided against it due to the delays it was causing for the Challengers.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I talked to the manager again today and he gave me the VON number for my car and sent me a copy of the order/build sheet. He also confirmed that, as of now, moon roofs are an option. I told him if it caused a delay to take it off, but for now I wanted it.

How long until we will start seeing VINs awarded?
