I picked up a 19' NB RE with 2700 miles and it came with an aftermarket K&N CAI.
I contemplated about getting the OEM CAI but was told from the aftermarket warranty company I purchased the warranty from (prior of purchasing the vehicle) that the K&N would be fine and they would support any future warranty claims as long as the K&N CAI unit was proven it did not cause any related damages motor wise.
The part number of the K&N CAI system the vehicle came with is 63-1577.
I was looking for a filter wrap for the air filter to help protect the filter/engine if ever I was forced to drive the vehicle in the rain.
I reached out to K&N Tech support for a part number for the filter wrap.... and their response was:
