Don’t waste your time and money on cheap locks for your cars, spend a few xtra bucks and get a (Dronemobile System) installed! Had one installed on my 21 DDSRT and 8 months later they tried and failed, couldn’t access my computer for shit and they left without the car, best money I ever spent! 😎👍🏾

1. Dealer Installed. 2. Monthly charge. 3. How does it prevent theft? It looks like it just tracks the car. CarCatCreations @ $100 seems a LOT better.
I'm not a fan of monthly charges. I dont need GPS monitoring to go get it back, I need prevention. Why would it need to be connected to a service to do its job, of stopping the car form running?

I’d just use an AirTag for redundant tracking after the uconnect.

Somebody posted that Tazer is working on a dead pedal throttle feature where you could disconnect the throttle and the engine would only idle.

Insurance. Once a thug drives it 100 feet, I don’t want it back.

What’s car cat, a new system?

Only thing I don’t like is all these features are live features( meaning it has to be plugged into the obdi) to work.. I guess the alternative is rerouting the obdi port somewhere else? For ex the 10 min lockout pin code function has to be plugged in to function.. until they can invent a system to work without being live, kind of pointless

Kill switches, yes more than one. Super easy to install and you aren't driving the car anywhere unless you find both of them. Obviously, does nothing for someone stealing it with a tow truck/flat bed though. I mounted one in an easy to access location and the other I hid where nobody is finding it.

Think I saw something saying they are working on that loophole.

Well ur obviously misguided by this whole thing, it’s a yearly fee $140 and that’s with theft protection besides tracking your car and more!

Next year you will.

Really, you guys...they don't charge by the month, they charge by the year.

Ok then, believe whatever you want it’s ur car ur loss not mine! Good luck!
Dont waste any time or money. Quit your job, park your hellcat in a garage down by the river and live in it. Been unemployed, can't afford gas, the leather is a bit worn, and there's a tree growing up through the engine bay but nobody has stolen it in years.

Im waiting for mine to arrive. How was the install and what did you think of it? Worth the $100?

Well worth the $100 IMHO. Install is super easy outside of just getting the dang center dash panel off. I struggled with mine for a bit before it finally came off. It was on their much tighter than I thought it would be, to the point I really thought I was going to break it before it finally let go. Once their first clip comes loose the rest come much easier.

Kit wise, I really liked having two switches that are different types of mechanisms. One is a regular toggle switch the other one rotates and if you rotate it the wrong direction it wont activate. Nothings fool proof but it's going to make the car MUCH harder to steal by being driven away. Does nothing for being towed away on a flatbed though, for obvious reason.

I should add, I wrapped the box in a microfiber towel before shoving it into the dash. I'd suggest that as well or it very likely could become a source of an annoying rattle/vibration.

Isn't the only reason you're on here is to sell us your product to us?
