Want to have possession of the second key on extended road trip. Carlisle etc. Where is the best place to keep it? Both for security and not interfering with operation. Thanks.

I guess I've never had both, or all three, keys in the car at the same time. What happens?
I doubt anything would happen with all 3 fobs in the car at the same time. You have to think that the original purchaser took delivery of all 3 fobs when purchasing the car and took them with on the delivery. I'd say that when all 3, or even just 2 fobs are in the car at once, one of them (most likely one of the red fobs) is probably the primary and it defaults to it, or you could switch to the black key by hitting a button on the screen if you wanted to decrease power.

This is correct! I had all 3 keys on the ride home and did not have any issues. With having a Red key that took priority of the black.
This is the Charger SP with the proximity unlock feature. Not sure about security etc. When wife put keys in trunk, it kept popping open.
If you park your car, you Will need to keep all the keys together or you will not have a great experience if someone hops in your car for a joy ride. So if you plan on keeping the other keys in the car for some reason, you will need a (hidden) faraday pouch/box to block the proximity signal. Again they extra keys will not affect the operation of the car.

I guess I'm a bit confused on the path of this conversation. Why are you bringing the other key?

I originally thought it was maybe as a spare for just incase you lost your other key on the trip, so I was going to just say, "same as you do with your other key", but then I noticed talk about storing it in the car. If you plan to store it in the car it would have to be in a faraday pouch or some other mechanism to prevent signal from being received. At that point if you lost your other key you wont be able to access the spare anymore.

I agree with a bug screen if you are driving the car to events. I got a few rock chips cruisin to Carlisle last year....

Planning to carry the FOB in case one is lost, and have a scond driver part of the trip. Don’t want to have it on my person all the time. The (novistretch) screen keeps the nose and radiator clean on trips.

Get a faraday bag, they really work. And as goofy as that screen looks, it seems to be effective. Does it flap at freeway speed? That could really beat up the paint.

Wow, these bags are big. The smallest I found was 5.3" x 3.1". Can I find a single smaller one? I will get a pouch, an Apple and Galaxy Air Tag, and use my Club on my upcoming trip.

Like others have said you can order a faraday pouch from Amazon but test it out when you get it. The first pouch I bought didn't work. I could still lock and unlock the car and start it. Sent it back and got another that works. And yeah, the screens look awful. Try some PPF.
