Just got off the phone with my ordering dealer who spoke with Detroit today. He read to me what was sent to him. The M6 IS planning to be a “late availability” option for 2023. They are pursuing the EPA certification for the M6 that lapsed during Covid. The A8 of course was obtained but they let the M6 lapse. My guess is low demand. They are making on honest effort to get this done for 2023. I ordered a WBHC in octane red with alcantara interior. I plainly stated I would only want the car if it’s an M6.

2025 ‘Cuda will come standard with a 5 speed

Tim said it should tip the scales at no more than 2350 pounds so you won’t need as much gear reduction

*Trans will be shifted by pulling individual levers like a old lenco. Dodge is doing that just to piss off the car n coffee guys

A HC with a Lenco would be awesome. Give those A8 owners a true run for their money.

Never say never... but the chances of this actually occurring IMHO is slim to none. I've been trying to buy one since late 2020 and every year since has been the same bullshit excuses and promises. I don't see that changing with this shit storm Dodge has created.

Don’t hold your breath on this one…

I still remember a year ago when they announced MY22 they said they were gonna be offering yellow stinger (no emissions certification required) as a “late availability” and here we are being told that M6 are gonna be back and pigs will fly…

I honestly could care less. If it doesn’t come, I’m sure I’ll be happy with the A8 if I decide to stick with the order. I can always buy a used stick car or a new 392 and have fun. I have more than one go fast machine.

I think you will love the A8 lots of fun, on my 2nd HC with A8. I test drove the M6 but would rather have the A8 in any of the HC’s. When I retire to the south in a couple years I am going to get a 5 generation Camaro SS with a M6 as a Dailey driver , that will take care of my manual trans desires…

I pursued trying to order a manual Hellcat for 15 months before giving up and ordering the A8. Car arrives on Friday. If the manual does actually return, I'll trade this one in and get the manual. But, if it doesn't materialize, I'll be happy with my A8.

But, I also kept my 2001 Trans Am with 6-speed. Going to be building a 440 LS motor for that. So, I'll still be banging gears!!

Until it blows the trans. Those M6 Hellcats were yanked for 3 reasons: 1) Low demand, 2) low durability, 3) They cost more to EPA certify due to having lower MPG totals.

Low durability? Hmmm... that sounds anecdotal at best. A whole lot of my high-RPM empirical clutch dumps would disagree.
