What’s the fastest way to take off in the 1/4 mile, launch control or feathering the pedal? I tried it at the track and it felt like my car took off slow maybe I did something wrong. Also tried it it last night and one of the times the car just kinda stalled out. Anyone else Have this happen?

I'm a 2-footed driver :) Left Foot Brake, Right Foot Gas... RPMs to 1,000 - 1,200, let go of Brake and accelerate at a rate that does NOT break the tires loose. Any yes, you can do this with stock Pirellis.

I've never seen launch control to be worth the effort. Once you get some decent tires on it you can foot launch it quicker than it will ever go with launch control.

Man I’ve never been on a track first off. But on the street I have a lot of practice. I have found personally that I do much better without using launch. I use feathering an feading in the throttle manually myself. Im sure others may recommend lauch control, but I personally do better without it after I thoroughly learn a car.

When you let off the brake the gas is already pinned…are you saying let off the pedal after a split second?……when I do launch control on 1500rpm my tires spin

No, I'm saying I don't use the on board Launch... I do it myself using my ^^^ steps & it works very well. I hold the pedal @ 1000, release the brake, let it roll a bit & apply throttle at a rate that does not spin the tires. I do this in Manual Trans and shift with the paddles.

Gotcha but I thought the car in automatic is faster
