Anyone have the optimal settings for the launch mode RPM? seems if i put it over 2,500rmp it just creeps forward no matter how hard i hold the brakes down. Do i need to upgrade the brakes to get a higher launch rpm? thanks

If it's creeping forward then either brakes not being pushed hard enough or throttle not being mashed to the floor fast enough.

Ok ill give the throttle a faster try. I feel like its way too much power for the brakes to hold the vehicle though over 2.2k rpm settings. I get the brakes to 1700psi which is by far the highest i can press the pedal down, which includes me hitting the break as hard as i can, then putting it in neutral and reving a few times, then back into drive which gives me an extra 500-800 psi of braking pressure, and then i mash the gas down as hard as i can, at which point the car lurches and begins rolling forward not staying on the line when im trying to race basically rolling through an brake pressure i have. . . I can guarantee its not the brake being depressed hard enough unless the hulk needs to do it as none of my friends could get anywhere the amount of psi on the brakes as i could. . . it seems very hard to accomplish but maybe im not depressing the throttle fast enough. gonna go down the street and do some testing.

tried 6 more times tonight. it wouldnt hold with anything over 2400RPM it just started going forward even with the brake depressed as far as my 550lb deadlifting legs could press as well as mashing the throttle down fast and hard well after the brake was fully set. im guessing the car has too much power to hold a lunch at higher RPM's. looks like the trackhawks had the same issue with anything over 2.2k RPMs. its obviously different then my e63s wagon launch mode where i can set it to 3.5k+ and i barely have to hold the brake with the throttle all the way to the floor lol.

What tires are you using that you need a 2500 RPM launch? My 315 4S won't hold anything over 1500-1600, or they still spin.
The stock scorpion tires. Not having any issues spinning up to 2.2k. The tires are quite sticky and it’s been 100+ degrees here every day.

But it appears the vehicle braking system can’t hold the power.

I just wanted to try a harder launch or even get the tires to spin. And the system lets you set the rpm over 3k so I just figured it would work but it doesn’t.

does anyone use launch mode and have luck? I feel like it would just roast the tires off. Cant say I have ever tried it
The all wheel drive works great. I can’t light up all 4. At least not below 2200 RPM. It launches super hard at 1600-2000 but I just wanted to try higher rpm settings.

On my amg e63s I can get up to about 3200 before it starts smoking the tires and it takes several tenths off my 1/8 - 1/4 mile times when I use launch control in race mode (sport+) mode. Thought it would be useful on the Durango
