My radiator started leaking so I ordered a new one swapped it today. Interesting 🤔 process I pulled it out through the top, it took 3 hours start to finish including clean up. I’m sure you could pull it out through the bottom too but I do not have a lift at home.

I've done it through the bottom a few times in using ramps .

2019 Hellcat Redeye widebody with no mods and was drag racing 3 weeks ago and on my 6th run half way down the track radiator blew up. Car all fixed up now but what could cause it to rupture like that? I hope photos help and would like any feedback. Does it have anything to do with the thermostat? Its running the stock one which I believe is the 195 degree one.

Mine did the same exact thing at the end of a 1/4 run, and I run a 180 Tstat, junk plastic tanks warp and come out from under the crimps that hold them in place. I replaced mine with a 100% all aluminum fully welded together better unit from Misimoto.

The stock thermostat is 195 degrees and I have been advised not to change it the lower one. Something to do with a sensor?
