Considering leasing a Hellcat Non-widebody non-redeye, should I order or wait til 22, my lease on my current vehicle is up in March but can turn in early.
What happens in '22?Considering leasing a Hellcat Non-widebody non-redeye, should I order or wait til 22, my lease on my current vehicle is up in March but can turn in early.
The possibility of them not making the hellcats anymore, or prices go up astronomically! What happens in '22?

Most major publications fully expect Hellcats to be available through the 2022 calendar year. Speculation exists that the planned 2023 refresh will not happen, and instead, the last of the Hellcats will bow out. Thus, if industry analysts are correct (and Dodge has done nothing to dispel these rumors from sites such as Car and Driver, Road&Track, and others), then the last Hellcats will be made in 2022 and will dry up as 2023 models midway through the calendar year 2023.Based on what information?
Exactly! Ralph Giles even said himself the days of the hellcat engine are numbered, it’s on life support right now, they’re sticking that engine in whatever they can, trying to get rid of the engine so to say. Charger Challenger Durango Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and now TRX.Most major publications fully expect Hellcats to be available through the 2022 calendar year. But, it also depends on the political situation. The only reason we even have Hellcats right now was because Trump eased the CAFE standards. Dodge was in danger of losing all of their V8s under Obama's EPA. It's primarily Biden's fault that caused the Durango Hellcat to be a 1-year model, as it does not meet the new 2022 emissions standards that will affect 2022 models. So, exactly how long the Hellcats remain in production lies largely on government regulatory efforts, as they're all precariously close to the limit as-is. Any tightening of those will result in cancellation.
That being said, I fully expect prices to increase. They're already up substantially over what I paid in 2020 for my new one. The MSRP model for model exact between my 2020 and a same 2021 model is about $4,000. If an end-date for the Hellcat is announced, you can expect a dealer markup on top of that.
Was at my dealership the other day, they said I could but there is no time frame, however they gave me a timeframe for a scat pack. 6-8 weeksBigger and more important question is:
Can you even place an order and get a 2021 Challenger Hellcat Non-widebody non-redeye before production ends![]()
We here know more than 95%of all dealership workers. Was at my dealership the other day, they said I could but there is no time frame, however they gave me a timeframe for a scat pack. 6-8 weeks
My ship date is June 10.Bigger and more important question is:

None.Based on what information?
What do you know that dealers don’t?We here know more than 95%of all dealership workers.
Probably the truth. It’s the dealers job to make everyone fall for the “better get it while you can” b.s. Reading this thread shows it works. What do you know that dealers don’t?
Well regardless of availability, you know that these aren't leasing out that well right now (not like they used to)...right?Considering leasing a Hellcat Non-widebody non-redeye, should I order or wait til 22, my lease on my current vehicle is up in March but can turn in early.
With the way things are going in this country and with covid, it wouldn’t be surprising. And again Ralph Giles already said the days of the hellcat and engine are soon to be over, and it also depends on what the epa does, always changing the standards. So not everything is bullshit coming from a dealer, and there’s a lot of articles on this as well, we all know SRT disbanded!Probably the truth. No the axe based on what makes them the least money. With the way things are going in this country and with covid, it wouldn’t be surprising. not having chips has hurt production across the automotive industry, and when that happens what do you think they axe first? The cars that are expensive and serve no purpose but speed. Atleast to them that is.
i didn’t come here for a pissing contest.
