After exactly one month of ownership I finally got around to swapping out the lug nuts as well as installing the sidemarker lights that came in a few days ago.

Nope, never....3/4" impact at 125 PSI set on #4 is usually pretty close........... Yes, sharp.
I agree... torque sticks are not the answer. The big tire chains use torque sticks (and usually at least a size smaller than rated) because 1) they are wildly inaccurate, and 2) it's really easy to greatly over torque lugs with an impact wrench (even w/the torque sticks--blip it a second too long and it's over torqued--gotta start over). They always finish to spec with an actual torque wrench.
Kinda wonder how many claims/lawsuits they had to field before making their policy to err so much on the side of safety...
If "pretty close" was good enough, safe enough, they wouldn't bother.
Specs are:Where did you purchase the lug nuts? Link please.
