Considering this intake, is it possible to take out the stock inlet without breaking it? I saw the honestly OCD video and it seems like he broke the clips too.As for the stock inlet...i snipped its ass out
YesIs it in the way of the LMI? In other words, does it need to be removed?
Nope. You have to pull REALLY HARD and rock it up and down as you are pulling it out. It will break.is it possible to take out the stock inlet without breaking it?
Rain shieldWhat's the purpose of the cover, to avoid hot engine air?
I think the intake looks significantly better without it but I'm a performance first type of person.
Thanks.. most of the carbon fiber parts were dipped by JLT Performance. Caps are Billet Tech, Hood Liner painted by Auto Arts, Inc.Loving the engine dress up, nice job. Where did you get all that stuff?
I wonder what kind of restriction it creates.Rain shield
Please think about your last comment. Makes one scratch his head.I doubt you would get any restriction. The car can only suck in so much air. It may be better to have it on to potentially lessen the amount of heat the intake sucks in from the engine bay.
My ex-wife was a knock out also, standing up.Lol. I know I know. I'll just leave it at that.
This intake is one of the best looking ones on the market. Really sharp looking.
I just took mine off, found it was rattling as it doesn't secure very tight with just the one fastening point. Only need it if you drive in the rain.I wonder what kind of restriction it creates.
