Ok, I started a GoFundMe for ResumeSpeed. He has done so much for us on here, every day, on top of his regular full time job and life. You know what I'm talking about. Always quality, spot-on, accurate, honest information. I can't even imagine how much time he spends looking up stuff for us...we only see the highlights that he posts on here and I know there is a LOT more work he does behind the scenes to keep us informed and sane.

So lets do something nice for him. I set a modest initial goal, $1000, but come on people, you all know why we are here, we're pursuing our passion, a not-inexpensive purchase. So share the love and let him know that we truly do appreciate him. You know he probably gets hundreds of messages and requests every single day. So lets thank him by letting him reward himself with something nice. It would be VERY cool if we actually raised MUCH more than the initial goal. Lets do something special for him because he does so much for us. Maybe he can take a well deserved vacation, treat the Mrs (if he has a Mrs), maybe even treat himself to some hobby or hot rod thing that he loves. Lets give back to the person who has given us so much for all of these many months when our pleas to FCA/SRT/Dodge have often times fallen on deaf ears.

I set it up and made the first donation.

Not familiar with GoFundMe. Can you provide a link in your initial post?

It's a common crowd funding site. Normally people set it up to fund their own inventions, but I set this one up for ResumeSpeed

I am not familiar with this at all, how do you pay? Visa? I think I read that they don't take pay pal, which I have.

You should check with RS and see if he is allowed to take donations for doing this work. Sometimes they have contracts that don't allow it. I think it's an awesome idea, but just want to make sure he even can accept it.

Agree 100%. I offered to him that I would set up a GoFundMe if he wanted but haven't heard back. Out of respect for that I held off. I really do want to give him something to say thanks but don't want to overstep, either.

Done. Any credit card for payment. Receipt sent to your email.
Guys and gals, ResumeSpeed is not going to ask or ok this. It is his nature to help. He has publicly stated that he has ZERO affiliation with FCA or Dodge. RadCat has a great idea, let's support him. Wouldn't it be great if this took off and he had a sizable down payment for a Hellcat? What say you??????

It's my understanding that RS has been helping on this and other forums for years.

I would ask everyone to hold off on doing any of this until I check for approval from an admin. I am also not sure this will be appropriate without the recipients approval. Please wait for further approval.

I am proud to announce that I just made a donation to ResumeSpeed through PayPal by clicking the 'Donate Now" button on his profile. It was real easy and only took a minute or two. RS provided me with information months ago when I was in VON hell that helped me decide to buy elsewhere. Then after getting my Cat off a dealer's lot, he let me know my build number and my Cat's birthdate. I love having this info and without RS I would never know it.

Thanks RS

I am honored to say I just made a donation, super simple with Pay-Pal. Thanks RS for all you do. You are the difference between going totally nuts to being able to cope. :p

Great job for setting that up thanks. I had to open a paypal account just so I can do this. Then, my bank didn't directly connect, so had to wait two days for confirmation... Should be good to go tomorrow. Worth the setup for all he does.
PayPal account should not be required. Once you click the Donate button, at the PayPal link that opens you can just enter credit card information. Of course if you don't want to use a CC and intend on using a PayPal account and withdrawing from a verified bank account, that works too.
