So I test drove a Hellcat that had the stock p zeros in the front and the nitto dr 555s in the back . It was a non redeye , but I was still impressed with the way it hooked . It made the whole car feel different . Mine is not my dd, but I was just curious about the longevity of these tires ? If I could get 10k out of them I’d be ecstatic . For those that have these tires , did you go for all 4 or Just the rears ? Any alternatives that are recommended ?

I put all 4 on mine, mainly for rotating, I still have my original pirellis on the factory wheels so I'll run those too. My car is not daily driven by any means & won't see rain unless it's by accident. I've heard maybe 7000 to 8000 miles is good for the Nittos. We'll see.

That seems pretty reasonable . How do they hook for you ?

I put 555rII in 305 on PK 20x11 wheels for the back of my 2020 Challenger HC, normal body. Car is stock except for Borla ATAK cat back, LMI intake, 180 thermo and tuned, It is not a daily driver. Conservative driving and a few small burnouts. 4k miles took me just past the ware bars and I took them off.
I put on only 2k a year so they lasted me 2 years, not bad. Bought another par of them, mounted and put away for the track.
Bought another pair of PK 20x11 wheels, put Michelin P4S in 315 on the back and 275 on the front. Have been running this combo for about 1.5k miles so far. Hook almost as good as the 555RIIs. A few small burnouts, no ware to be seen.
I will keep the Nittos for an occasional track day but will run the Michelins on the street from now on.
