I had the same treatment put on the rims that I did on the exterior paint, C Quarts Finest. CarPro has other products that can be used that don't require pro install. Lots of positive reviews can be found on Google. Makes cleaning much easier most can be accomplished with pressurized water and some of their spot sprays. I recommend.

Did the Cquarts Finest make an obvious difference, in appearance, or mainly in ease of cleaning; can you tell a bit of your observations?

I ordered c quartz from Amazon for $57. It said it was enough to do an entire car but when it came in it looked like a little bottle of eye drops with some cleaning patches for a 9 MM. Haven't tried it yet but I'm pretty sure it won't cover a car.
