After installing a 2.65 upper pulley, ported snout, 10% lower pulley, and 105mm throttle body starting my car up for the first time it’s in limp mode with the lighting bolt on and it says service electronic throttle control and check engine code P2A0D. No other forums on this, experience anything like this? Idk what to do I think I’m going to take it to the dealer even tho I don’t want to

Trouble shooting 101, Was it running Before you messed with it?

Joking aside, check wiring harness, reinstall stock TB and check results.

Well, you didnt mention a Tuner or Tuning and you most definitely would need both.

Yes I’ve been running a 2.85 hellraiser upper and e85 for like 15k miles no problems jus wanted to throw some more bolt ons on there to make more power. Stock TB same results. Idk how to check the wiring harness 😂

Sorry a little background, I’ve had it tuned on e85 , 2.85 hellraiser upper pulley stock throttle body for 15k miles no problems. Goto a very reputable tuner around here and took it to the dyno no realizing I had this issue and we were there for 2 hours trying to figure out what the hell is putting it in limp

Gowraps in Fremont,CA. He said he can’t tune till it gets out of limp mode. Do you think I switch to a 2.75 upper? He did tell me I’m going to be pushing like 20psi of boost now with this setup.
Gowraps? There’s less than 10 tuners in the entire country I’d trust tuning a hellcat. Is this place a hemi shop or do they wrap cars?

Where do I find that throttle relearn?
1)Ok so First let’s get in the mopar and put the challenger in the “ON” position.

2) Wait for the warning lights to go out. The Check Engine Light may remain on but that’s OK.

3) Next Slowly depress the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor.

4) Slowly release the accelerator pedal until it’s all the way back up.

5) Now Turn the ignition to the “OFF” position. Repeat these steps a couple of times in case you got it wrong the first time.

I think he needs to find where to locate and run the throttle relearn diagnostic. It’s in diagnostics OP

If your tuner doesn’t know this get a new one. Also no idea why he didn’t give you a startup tune revision for increased airflow.
@HGSRT you give it a try?

I have an appoinment to take it in to the dealer tomorrow I guess I’ll have them look at it it’s something weird I feel like electrical wiring or something because every is plugged in and all my cables are good no rips or wear. Idk if they are even gonna be able to help me tho with my mods. I Appreciate your guys’ help fr

it seems like you’re kinda missing where people are saying you need a new tune with the lower pulley from 2.85 to the 2.65
