Ok so i installed the LMI intake on my redeye challenger and made sure not to over tighten the clamp to not crack the carbon fiber. Basically it looks like the clamp isn't sealed all the way. I sprayed some water near the gap and reved the engine and it seems sealed because nothing in that area was sucking the water and i didnt feel any air being sucked there as well. I cant tighten the clamp up more due to fear of cracking the intake. The car is running fine. When i tighten the clamp the gap doesnt go down. Thoughts anyone? Would like people with the LMI intake installed all rdy to comment if possible.

You clamp tightens at dead center.
This causes the edge to lift if the tube is not perfectly round or equal in diameter at center vs edge of clamp.
You can play with it, move the clamp out past the edge of the silicone sleeve by a mm and retighten.
That tube is stronger than you think, but just do not go crazy.

How does spraying water find a leak? I thought we needed to use carb cleaner or something flammable so the RPM raised up.
Using water can possibly work. Used to be whatever one used, carb cleaner, brake cleaner, or possibly water, the SOP was to shoot some into the carb -- this was obviously years ago -- and see how the engine reacted. It could speed up a bit, or slow down a bit, but the idea was to make sure it reacted.

If the engine reacts to some water being sprayed into the intake tube leading to the intake manifold fine. If not then the OP will have to use something that does cause the engine to react.

Might note too carb/brake cleaner is much lighter viscosity fluid and thus would be expected to make it through a smaller air leak than water.

Thus while one could use water I'd rather use carb/brake cleaner (in an aerosol can).

If you move it and the tube doesn't slide, its tight enough.
Be carefule not to mess up your finish on your CF with a chemical.

Yes, brake clean, carb and choke cleaner, even washer solvent will raise RPM if you have an intake leak and you spray it on the spot.
Just in this circumstance, I would be cautious about the LMI finish.

it's probably pulling some timing, but the loss in hp isn't a big deal unless you're drag racing. I always check my intake temp, coolant temps, and oil pressure because I think having a whole bunch of numbers in front of me makes me smart

The IAT isn't all that important on our cars, as the charge air is after-cooled. Lower IAT is always better, but twin screw blowers just heat that air up again anyway.

In comparison, I chuckle at people who have 5.7 R/Ts, a Legmaker, and think they're cool by putting a 19+ Hellcat hood on their car. Those 160-170 IATs just reduces their power by 15-20%. Karma and what-not.

First drive in the rain and water on the intake tube but doesn't seem like on the filter. See pics. Should i be concerned? It wasnt suppose to rain but it did here in central CA. See pics.
Seems like the water came through the snorkel hood vent. My LMI did come with a sock filters but it wasnt suppose to rain :(

Here is another question. My ambient temp is 80 outside and my intake temp air temp is 120-125f while driving and 127-131f while idle. That normal?
Yes, quite normal. The intake air, like it or not, takes some heat directly from conduction from engine to supercharger/manifold to air, and also, the LMI is sucking in underhood air to a bit more of an extent than the stock intake manifold.

One of the things I LIKE about a supercharged car is that even in cold weather, the cylinder is not getting cold air. It's usually room temp or above, which helps combustion, IMHO, especially when warming up from cold.
