You don't even hear the supercharger whine and it looks rigged to me.

This is More like a camaro fan boy video and some folks claimed the Challenger in this video is a Scat Pack on Facebook. Wonder if they took the scat pack logos off and slapped on some mopar hellcat logos LOL

The owner of this so called "Hellcat" says it is a hellcat. Doubt it. No supercharger whine means it's not a hellcat.

See it and share your opinions.

You're right. No supercharger whine whatsoever! I find it hard to believe that was a Hellcat there.

Appears to me the Dodge didn't have the matte black Hellcat wheel finish, and maybe even a different hood, so it's probably not an actual Hellcat. Plus the noted lack of supercharger whine; Also didn't see all the red, on the dash instruments?

A perfect example of why you shouldn't up-badge.
Be proud of what you have, but don't be a Poser.

I've watched this several times. SRT badging is in the correct place. Can't tell about the hood. Instrumentation is white light. Someone else said Hellcat's is red glow? I will say that the sport bikes were struggling to keep up with both cars. (you can here them winding out) Final thought, don't think that because you have over 700 hp, that your not going to run in to someone faster on the street. Do we know what has been done to the Camaro outside of nitrous?

I agree wholeheartedly. I understand when somebody desires a tribute car, such as making a General Lee or something, but have never grasped why people will take like a Z06 badge and stick it on their regular corvette, or slap GTO badges on a Tempest or 442 emblems on their Cutlass and so on. Those that can tell the difference are sure to think 'what a poser', --and those that can't tell the difference are sure to find out during impromptu 'testing' such as in this video!

A guy in a local car club has spared no expense in dressing and badging up his SXT to look like a worked R/T. I don't bother with the guy at all. Whenever anyone said "It's his car, he can do whatever he wants with it.", I'd say "I agree. But if you can't be real about your car, you're probably not real about anything else either."

Totally agree there is ALWAYS someone with a faster car out there, but these clowns are not likely in a Hellcat, making it look like these cars are not as good as they are.

Then again, it would be funny to see someone's face who thought they were a Hellcat killing machine after smokin some poser like this, get blown out the water by a real Hellcat!

Only an internet expert here, but: Take away your vision for a minute and listen to the video. That Challenger just doesn't sound like any H/C I've heard before on the net...
That Camaro doesn't even play a factor of why I don't think it's a H/C. It just sounds too goofed to be the real deal.

That or that H/C has mechanical issues...;)

The white your seeing is from the TFT center screen, its really bright, but it does look like a hellcat,, wheels don't look right,, almost hyper black,, but it does have the matte gas cap, and dark tailpipes...but at that speed when they take off, the supercharger sound should be there...

And another thing, at a roll, that's where our hellcats shine the most, at 40 mph and you jump on it that noise should lift and the hellcat should rocket out of there....We need to ask BuddyG, he has had a lot of seat time in his car!

Doesn't seem to be a real Hellcat IMO. Calipers are not the right color and I have watched the video numerous times. Also I don't see the heat extractors. If it is a cat, black key perhaps? It is a 15', from what i can tell of the taillights.

Look closely at the grill, and the exhaust sounds pretty tame for a Hellcat, If it was a bonafide Cat, it was probably locked in valet mode and these kids took it out for a joy ride, HA the joke would be on them,
If it IS a Hellcat, they certainly lacked the red key fob! But with that distinct LACK of supercharger whine, I am skeptical that it's even a Hellcat.

The outside of the car looks correct, Hood with extractors , but the wheels don't look matte black, the car is dirty and the wheels still have a little shine,, Maybe they are just making themselves look bad driving around with the black key....

Front calipers are the correct size. Rear spoiler is correct for the Hellcat. No way to know what fob they were using, but the Camaro sounds strong and on nitrous. Lot's of 10 second Vettes and Camaros in this country. Just go to YouTube.
