I’m looking for a Reputable shop to put on a 2.85 pulley on and a Tune. I was quoted $5.550 to do this. Which sounds crazy expensive, but (idk) I’m willing to drive to Florida, North Carolina, Georgia. I’m looking for a alittle more power nothing crazy. I just want to beat my dads red eye(stock). Thanks for all your help in advance

I think the $5,550 is likely a bit over the moon, but you'll need more than a pulley and a tune to run the pulley with the tune. Things like an unlocked PCM, new plugs, injectors, and so on. The more you do yourself, the less the bill will be.

Do you know a shop that will do it for cheaper?? I have the unlocked pcm already

In Florida-

Hades Motorsports- Port St. Lucie (which use to be in Lake Park).

Gear Head Fabrications - Jensen Beach

American Muscle Performance - Pompano Beach (which has been stated above)

These are all reputable Mopar shops to name a few...

If you are mechanically inclined at all, go with the Ripatuned Incognito lower pulley that nets an extra 2-2.5 psi, install it yourself and get a tune. That's all you need to beat a Redeye easily. You should be putting down near 800 whp with this combo.

Total cost would run you about....
Incognito $800 (no need to pin the crank with just this pulley)
180 thermostat $50
HPTuners unlocking of the PCM $250 (if you need this)
A good tuner $800

Less than $2k to get around 800 whp. The Redeye is only about 50-60 whp more than the Hellcat. Most Hellcats dynojet at around 660 whp and the Redeye around 710 whp.

The most experienced Hellcat TUNER I know is Joshua Schwartz of HHP.
High Horse Performance is a supporting Vendor on here.
Seriously Delaware is not far for you and I think it will be worth your time and money to send your car there.

HHP is where it all started and me my Husband @Top Cat were at the track with Josh 3xs a week for first T+T R&D of Tuning and parts.
Josh has a vast knowledge Of Hellcat Tuning and continues to gain more through his customers and to T&T on my husband's "Top Cat " Challenger. RIP John long live Top Cat @
It is Highly important to have a Tuner with knowledge of Hellcats.
No matter what call and ask what it would cost for what you want for an ET
HHP has the answer.

If you cant make the travels give HHP a call for a recommendation

Injected Engineering in Kennesaw GA. They did all the work to my Hellcat, never had any issues.

HHP is also very good but just isn't in the states requested.

Why not just bolt on a pulley and use a canned tune on an unlocked PCM?

People can just provide you with a tune that they can email you or put in a PCM, can't they?

I mean, if you just slap on a pulley and a tune, why not? I'd go with an ATI oversized crank pulley NOT A BLOWER PULLEY, NOTE (more belt speed means more traction with bigger pulley diameters) and one of HPIndy's underdrive accessory pulleys and a canned tune, and yer done.

Three parts:
ATI pulley and accessory pulley combo, (even if you go with stock accesory pulley size)
new belt
PCM.

No need to mortgage the house on a basic, just-change-pulley tune. The stock fuel system can handle a 10 percent OD blower pulley.
