4 Months ago I bought a Charger, I was having oil pressure issues with the car. This week I was able to disassembly the motor, Found out that the piston is cracked, crankshaft is damaged including the camshaft. Block is not damaged, I took it to the engine shop they are telling me 8 weeks 0.0 I've lost patience.

Anyways enough of my life story

I'm looking for a Short Block 6.2 Stock (preferred) but if there are any other suggestions or blocks that would be better than a stock block and would not require additional parts I will also take.

Unless you find a junkyard with a 6.2l that you can pull, or order a Hellcrate that some company has in stock - You aren't going to get anything faster in 8 weeks regardless.

You might be able to get the 6.2l short block and order the crank/rods/etc that you need and maybe get all of that in 8 weeks.. But good luck receiving and finding a shop that will get that done in 8 weeks currently. Unless you absolutely can not wait and have the $15k to blow a Hellcrate will likely be your only option. I don't see how it's possible to get it done faster in 8 weeks unless you know how to machine & build an engine. Your shop says your block is fine, but are you confident enough in your own skill level to verify that opinion & build it on your own in under 8 weeks?

I accidently wrote small block instead of a short block, I'm looking for a short block meaning it has a crank pistons rods etc.. I would just have to drop in a timing chain lifter cam and few other things and call it a day. here is an example:

A few different builders offer a short block like that, but again, getting it in under 8 weeks is questionable.

Call Dave Weber at the shop. I am pretty sure everything is plug and play except for the tune. Demon engine is the same as the Redeye if I am not mistaken. Blower is just a larger unit but should bolt up. These longblocks will not last long.

Why do you think they won't last long? even with stock hellcat supercharger tune and Stock demon tune?

Last long as in supply. They have a limited quantity to sell and folks are going to jump. These are OEM

Well I bought one, or at least I sent the money over.

I probably Need Injectors + Tune. Demon Injectors are 700CC compared to hellcat which is 600CC.

I hope its all plug and play and bolt on.

If using your 2.4L Hellcat blower, you can use the same injectors. No need to change. Just getting the same block and heads just built a lot better for more boost.

Do not even think you will need a tune. Check with HHP or MMX

No tune needed, everything should be the same plug and play. Just stick with your injectors and sc and you are ready to roll.

There is a guy on here searching for heads, you may be able to sell those to him and recoup some money.

Now come to think of it, the cam in a demon is different.
If you run into issues and need a stock cam, I have a 2015 HC cam with 8,900 miles that I replaced with a demon plus cam.
Let me know if you need it, not sure what it is worth.

Not sure if the cam is different. I have read that the cam lift in the Hellcat is the same as the Redeye/Demon cam.

Looks to be fit. :). The only question is are you sure the block won't need a tune? if the block needs to be tuned here is what I have to do:
1.Get the Demon PCM File HPTuners
2. Apply PCM File
3. This is where it gets tricky the block will be good with the Demon PCM File but the Blower will need to be adjusted for a stock hellcat blower.
4. I don't know which lines are for the blower so I'm unable to compare the files and see which part is for the blower so that way I could just copy everything over to that Demon PCM and call it a day.
