Isn’t fla the state where they are taking catless cars and fining the shit outta those caught driving them?

Might wanna consider gutting your oem and welding tube straight thru them instead?

Gonna be loud if you don’t swap in a real muffler. Good luck : )

Considering them for my 2020 HC. It is not a daily driver and I live in Florida.
Can't seem to be able to find any.
Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Varooom
I did this to mine and put the OEM pipes back on, bought from the same company.. the fume smell was unbearable to the point where even a 5 min drive would have my clothes smelling like gas.. NOT worth it.. and I live in fl too

If you decide to go this route, I have a set of JBA midpipes in the classified section for sale for $300.

Unfortunately, I have to stop using them at the track. The RE engine blows the shit out of them under my foot. Not fun to hear about the fumes, bummer, but, the windows stay open, I suppose it will sound bad ass to the max, because we are going to tune it also.

@fnd09 did you have it adjusted when you took them off? Was it a lot more loud?

Sounds like you had an exhaust leak if it smelled bad in the car going down the road.

It is louder. It isn't make your ears hurt louder. It isn't as loud as a mid muffler delete.

Well your about up, Sir! This is about to get fun. No way this old Harley rider is going to wear ear plugs at the track!

Thanks guys, the exhaust smell is a killer for me.
I did not realize you will have exhaust inside the cabin. I will skip the catless down pipes, this is a street car.

Funny though, I have been building, restoring, racing late 60s and early 70s Mopars for over 40 years. Everything from slant 6 to 426 Hemi. The only time I would have an exhaust problem is if the system was not sealed up properly or did not go out the back of the car. But none of those cars were boosted. Maby that has something to do with it.

Probably too loud anyway. I am already running a Borla ATAK cat-back.

Thanks again,
Varooom

I have been running the JBA catless shortys on my last 2 hellcats. Only drawback for me is that we cant use the trunk for luggage. So, we use the back seat. The fumes get into the trunk and it will leave your luggage and stuff inside smelling like exhaust. I got yelled at that LOL

I also want to hear more on that. Exhaust smells with converters, E85 has a real distinct smell, so if the correct fitting bypass units are installed, what changes to allow fumes in the car?

I want to do a set of the catless pipes. It looks like the next step would be tune out the OCT modeling threshold and downstream o2 sensors.

Looks like there are big daddy mini cat adapters but then the OCT issue still may be there.

anyone know of good tuners in the Bay Area for hellcats/redeyes/demon?

my car is never used on the road, of course. After I do these mods I would never dare to start it either. For the air, of course.
