Does anyone know of a good dealership in Connecticut either with conscientious technicians that are preferably Dodge SRT trained or if not SRT at least very experienced and care about what they are working on?

I'm looking for a dealer for service, repairs, warranty work etc.

Thanks, I'll check 'em both out.

Do you find Wetmore's competent with SRT vehicles? Looking for a competent technician that actually enjoys what they do and cares about what they are working on.

I called Wetmore's, Modern Dodge and Papa's Dodge so far. All three are more than happy to work on a Hellcat not purchased there.

I actually visited Wetmore's when I was looking to place an order. They were very nice. The net is that I came later in the game (it was January). There was four or five (forget which) orders in the system and at the time your order was incoming (didn't know it was yours but I do now) and the other cars hadn't been allocated yet so they were still in VON status.

When I was looking to place an order in January there were two types of dealers in CT. The ones that said 'no' we won't take your order (because they had no allocations and didn't think they would be getting one) or those that said we will take your order and a deposit but we have no allocation and no idea if we can actually get the car or not.

I could appreciate both scenarios as these dealers seemed pretty honest and straight forward relative to the situation around ordering a Hellcat.

I told Wetmore's I would consider putting an order in but I was going to look for a car on the lot and I wanted to be able to back out an any time (even after VIN was issued). They were OK with backing out up prior to VIN but not after. My thinking is the car is so easy to sell what is the difference. There was no hard feelings either way. I opted not to place the order and found and available car in February.

The folks at Wetmore's seem decent and that is were I will probably go. I also liked the folks at Papa's very much based on my discussion with the service manager. Modern seemed decent but they also seemed a bit disjointed in service (hard to describe but an impression I got).

Thanks. I started using Papa's Dodge and so far I've been very happy with the relationship I've built there.

Good to keep a list of the 'good' dealer service options we have. I've also heard good things about Artioli.
