Hey guys I was looking around for good lowering springs for my 2018 Challenger Hellcat WB. I’ve looked into coilovers but the ones I found that people don’t have any complains on is the V4 kit from KW and that’ll run me about 5 grand. I’m not looking to get something cheap but 5K is a bit steep.
Eibach I’ve heard has good lowering springs (not coilovers which is ok) but there sold out everywhere which is insane. Anyways not talking about the KW V4 and Eibach what are some other options I could look into?
(I would prefer that they don’t ruin the electronic dampening from the car)

Oh wow these look like an awesome option, I don’t know why the KW representative I talked with would only tell me about the V4 kit. Thanks! This is definitely worth looking into at the price.

That will work for you. I don’t knkw what is wrong with KW. Their site won’t show that option only the coil overs also. The height is adjustable. Be careful with lowering the car, especially the rear too much, axles can have problems and alignment settings get a bit screwy.

Oh!! I forgot to mention mines a widebody. Previously I just realized these are the same springs I got and returned. I purchased the same springs KW 25327019 and they wouldent fit right with the stock shocks.

Huh? I have the front units taken off my regular ‘15 Hellcat on my ‘19 REWB and all is well. What exactly does not fit?

O that’s interesting, I’m not sure but I’ll ask my mechanic who’s doing the work.

Btw thanks for the help! That means maybe I won’t have to return these just yet if we can make it work. I don’t know specifically but he said the front springs won’t fit.

What did you mean by getting the front units of off your 2015?

Sorry if I’m bugging I just really would love if I didn’t have to return these current ones.

The KW V4 Coilovers would require disabling the electronic dampening control. However you would also have a fully tuneable high performance suspension.

I mean that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make, however 5 thousand dollars is just a bit much. I was looking for some kind of alternative.

Sorry. I had a ‘15 with the KW’s on it, I removed them before selling it. It was one of those that ate axles. So bolted up the front units because I like to lap it and have several other suspension mods. I think the mechanic said they needed to cut some little plastic deflector or something like that on the RE. All I know is they are on my REWB and work great. I did not mount the rears because I don’t want it lower and the rear KW’s have less of a spring rate than the OEM Challenger Hellcat springs. I know others on this Forum have them installed on Widebodies.

Seems pretty cool thanks for the link although while it improves handling which is the main reason I’m doing this I still wanna have it lower.

The reason why the website doesn’t offer you the KW Adjustable Lowering springs is because they are not suitable (according to KW) for the 6.2L Supercharged Challengers.

I have experience with the statement that I made.

There are 2 premises:

P1. KW does not recommend their adjustable springs for 6.2L Challengers.
and
P2. This is the reason why they are not offered on the website for 6.2L Challengers.

If either P1 or P2 are False then the entire statement is false, otherwise the statement is True.

I made no claim about whether or not they will work. If you want to get them, get them.

Oh wow no way, the pro’s softer then the stocks🤔…that sucks. The current ones I have that you recommended the mechanic simply said just don’t fit around the shocks in the front. The ring wear the adjuster is won’t go fully through because it gets tighter the more in you go and we only leave it in half way I’ll end up lifting my car. Idk how you guys did it but we’re stuck at a dead end it seems with these springs 😅
There any chance I can talk with your guy and maybe get the installation details? Or maybe the springs u used were KW 25327018? And I bought the KW KW 25327019’s.

I’ll be honest with you I know there not recommended and I appreciate the warning alot but if they work then I’m all for it I guess.
But seriously I really appreciate the warning and I understand where your coming from!
