I’m thinking of selling my front calipers Powdercoated sublime with my rotors from a 2015 challenger hellcat and less than 500 miles on performance brake pads looking to see if there’s any interest before I take them off $1500 I will probably do both front and back after thinking about it complete front and back in mint condition $2300

I spent over two hours on the phone holding to talk to an agent, AGAIN, while on vacation with my family.
You accused me of trying to rip you off and then it made sense.
Look at the damage and tell me again this happened in shipping. There is zero powder coat chips in the news paper. My wife unwrapped every piece above a black trash bag to send a pic to fedex but there was nothing.

I would never claim that because I know I sent you calipers that were in great condition
Ok,
Lets say i give you the benefit of the doubt.
But I have damaged calipers now.
Who is responsible?
The boxes looked brand new, zero damage, that is why fedex denied the claim. They said read the fine print for insurance. Packaging is the senders responsibility. The had zero reports of any box damage or repairs. The driver had not noted damage to the box. My ring video even shows the boxes in perfect shape and sat down gently by the delivery guy.
Who is at fault?
Those long scratches are from a wheel rub, perfect straight parallel sratches do not happen in shipping damage.

Dude, YOU have to accept some responsibility here too. YOU made mistakes during the sale, so it's a wash. $1100 for all 4 almost new Brembos is a steal! I paid $1300+ for just fronts, in red, and sadly no longer need them. Mine had a few chips also; BUT, compared to new................ Move on man........

Someone, that i trusted, lied to me about condition of an item repeatedly.
These posts are for information about my experience.
Lol, sublime calipers are a tad harder to sell than red ones.
I am moved on.
Simply savage till someone gets your cash buddy. Good luck to everyone who deals with him.
Dude again I had none of that damage on the calipers when I sent them how do I have wheel rub on my car when I have perfect clearance of my wheels which I can prove and show you videos of me driving the car with those calipers and wheels on it they didn’t have wheel clearance I think they would grind down and made a disaster out of it…
I don’t know what you expect me to do I sent you calipers that were in great condition and now they’re damaged due to some shipping issue do you want me to take them back and now I have Calipers damage that I didn’t have before because you wanted them shipped there’s such tiny little chips you can go to a body shop and buy a little sublime touch up and put little dots on the tiny little chips that are on there and you’ll never even see it i’ve given pictures in the beginning and showed nothing on them being damaged I’ve never sold anything that wasn’t less than excellent condition so you’re going to try to tarnish my selling reputation now
After reading all off this my take is that there is blame to be shared here. Seems to me they were shipped in good shape and bounced all around in a really poorly prepared package. Explains why the outside of the box still looked fine. Doubtful that there would be paint chips loose in the box, just powder coat damage. If they were shipped like that - loose in newspaper - that's a ginormous fail. Those things were obviously bouncing around into each other the entire time during shipping. Imo you are a really shitty packer, Did you really expect there to be no damage without them each being individually wrapped in some sort of bubble wrap or foam? And he is not much behind you here blame-wise. It's pretty doubtful that they left all scuffed up to begin with. A seller would have to know he would be blown up all over the forum once the buyer opened the box. Then again you could just deny it but would that really be worth it? Not to me. You showed him pics of how they'd be shipped and he still let you convince him it would be fine. I would've bailed right then. Hindsight is 20/20 though. Hopefully common sense will teach a couple of lessons here.

Lots to be said for ftf deals here! I received a screwing from a member called Robocop regarding a pair Trackhawk tips a few years back. Same shit as what happened here. He claimed mint parts, tips arrived bent up like they were backed up into a retaining wall. Carton arrived in great shape. Fortunately all of my other transactions have gone well, but buyer protection is a must unless I’ve dealt with the seller prior. Big or heavy items don’t travel well. Ftf deals only for them. Sorry OP, but you’re left with parts you didn't bargain for no matter who’s liable.

Listen William,

The only reason I came on here is because you sent me a text saying that I was ripping you off and fedex payed me with a check on my claim. That was not true, then you simply quit responding to my texts. You pulled the victim card on me and its just disgusting.

Lets keep things truthful and honest here.

1. You are not a victim of anything here.
I did not "want" them shipped as you pointed blame, if that wasn't an option, I would not have bought them. I wasn't driving to NY. And you put them in boxes and sent them, I did not force you to do so.

2. Me putting touch up paint on little chips is not what I paid you $1,000 for, and these are not little chips. I only sent face pictures, the backs are torn up as well. This is not a chip, and please explain this damage to me and how it happened in shipping. I have not made accusations, I have asked you to explain why it is this, and you blame fedex and me.

I have kept things professional and true. You were added on the claim from day one, so all the information was available to you if you called also. You did not, but still made false allegations against me. I bent over backwards working with fedex and got a rejection. I have roughly 10-15 hours involved into this fedex claim with pictures, down loading them one by one to the site, and calling multiple times to sit on hold for hours on end. Look at it from my side, I did everything that you wanted. I gave you a deposit, I sent the remaining funds immediately when you asked for them, I paid for shipping and insurance. Then I got stuck with all this work and wasted time. I had to sit on hold waiting for fedex, twice in one week, instead of enjoying the beach with my family.
And in the end, I got calipers that you called perfect, but i would not run these on my car. If i wanted to paint calipers, I could have just painted my perfect red ones that are on my car.
How would you like to buy a set of gently used weld wheels that look new in pics, and receive them with the black paint chipping off on the face, when the seller said they were perfect? And then they tell you to go buy touchup paint to fix them? Bottom line, you wouldn't.

I made a huge mistake in not paying the paypal fees, but then again, I thought members that put time in on these forums actually cared about the community. We both have put time in here, had interactions, guess that doesn't make people friends. My bad. I truly feel if I had paypal protection and mailed them back to you, you would be the one posting on here about me saying that I ripped you off.

Again, you are trying to spin this as you being the victim. I am not tarnishing your selling reputation. I am stating facts that shed light. I have a good idea of what happened here but without watching you put them in the boxes in whatever condition and tape them shut, it is only and opinion and can't be proven as a fact.

Bottom line, trying to have fedex cover the damage is not happening. The claim is closed, the boxes told the story by having zero damage.

Are you going to take them back?

If not, are you going to give me anything back?

Expecting me to eat the complete cost when I did everything you wanted and nothing wrong is what will define your character, I have not tarnished you one bit, the facts are there and you are free to explain if I am inaccurate in any of these posts.

Let me know where we go from here.

I am still trying to resolve this with Midevil.
He has been responding on a post here by choice.
I have not harassed him on his phone or via PM.
Its a public forum, you and I have zero issues, but you do not have to read it or open it if you choose not to. Feel free to comment though, it is public, I have done nothing wrong. The last post was before Linda closed the other. I stated my case and that was it. I hope to hear from him and hopefully we come to a resolution instead of this just fading into the night.
Thank you for chiming in 👍🏻
