That doesn't sound good. Did you leave something in the intake tube that could have been sucked into the supercharger? It sounds like supercharger noise.

Good luck with that and welcome to Hellcat.org!

Why do I feel like you and this guy are going to become friends - 2.4 SUPERCHARGER W/PORTED SNOUT AND HEAT BLANKET

I wouldn't run that car anymore until you can pull that SC off an inspect things. Best cause is probably some bad bearings. Worst case, you've got rotors that are hitting each other and throwing metal into the engine.

Just doesn't sound like bearing to much but not sure what else could make noise like that from the intake track.

Good gosh….that’s horrible. Pull that back off and take a look inside that intake tube. Sounds like there is something that was in the tube and now is sitting on the inlet for the intake. I’m going to say it will be very obvious.

That's an open vacuum line somewhere. Sure what it sounds like, just sucking air. The telltale sign is when the car is turned off, it stops instantly. Blower noises usually continue for a very brief second as the rotating assembly winds down. That sound went off like a switch, which tells me it's likely pneumatic in nature.

Never heard a broken or unplugged vacuum line do that.
