Looking to change the brake pads on my new redeye when it comes home from PPF and ceramic. What's the best option Powerstop Z26's or Stoptech steet/sport's? No track driving just spirited street just want low dust!

I have been reading up on both I listed most seem to like them some don't. I had Ebc redstuff's on my Cts-v they were better on dust but still put out quite a bit. Just dont want to have to clean wheels after every ride around town.

P Stops on three Challengers now. Not one issue. Spirited driving, no track. No dust, love em.

I went to Stoptech “street" after trying Powerstop. Didn’t like the performance of PS and Stoptech have all the OE Brembo bite with less dust. Both are one of the few who include new clips and pins.

I had the power stop on my charger and loved the lack of dust. Literally installed them 2 weeks after I purchased the car and never looked back. Really didn’t notice that much of a lack of bite personally, but I wasn’t track daying the car or anything.

I had power stop Z23 on my Charger Scat with the 6 piston Brembos. I liked the brake feel more than the Brembo pads tbh. Less initial bite than the brembo pads but a much more linear braking feel. Best benefit is obviously practically no brake dust but they honestly are better performance wise IMO.

I’ve used both.
I used StopTechs on all my Corvettes - the last one being a C7Z. No issues and no dust.
i installed the PowerStops on my Challenger a couple weeks back. They have been fine and again, no dust.
I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

I believe these are similar to Carbotech. I have Carboetch 1521 pads on two of our vehicles. They're pricey but you get similar bite as stock but without the brake dust.

Have the wheels ceramic coated. Low dust = low performance, regardless of the marketing. Brembo specs the o.e. pads for a reason.
It is true, there's a trade-off with performance vs dust. Some choose to accept less performance for less dust. These vehicles still stop very well even with ceramic pads due to the massive rotors.

I've got black wheels and don't really care about dust. If you want to barrel into corners, and then stand on the brakes hard enough to yank your fillings out, you've got to be okay with dust. If you don't go fast, then you don't need great brakes. Rotor size is more for heat dispersion, not shortened stopping distances. Other than the driver, short stopping distances are all about caliper size/construction and pad material.

Z26 on all 4 corners.

Don't forget to remove the paint from the sides of all friction pucks and lube all steel plate contact points with a good high-temp silicone brake lube.
