My car is lowered too and is a problem, i took off the little aluminum buttons on the bottom helped alot.

Not yet. I went up into the woods last week for vacation and figured it might get trashed up there so I held off. At this point I'll probably hold off until Spring, it's a little more involved to remove and replace than I initially thought.

Just file off the loose stuff and juice it with a happy coating like Ceratrim.

I think it’s the best stuff out there. Torque Detail has a pretty good product too. I’ve used both. Ceratrim may be more expensive. Worth a try. Will be good to have on hand for other components. How are the front facing scuffs happening?

I've done it on mine. The tennis ball trick is no joke. I don't think it would work for damage as seen in this thread, but it works great on surface scratches and scuffs that don't dig too far into the medium.
