Hello everyone. I have been a diehard LS guy for 17 years. My friend bought a 16 Hellcat new and has been racing it since. I have been amazed by that car.
Fast forward to about 4 weeks ago, another friend has a 2020 Super Stock (rear tire & brace only mods) and asked me to drive it at the track (1/8 mile). Car went 6.64 at 106.7 on 91 octane Chevron hot lapped. I was amazed and I was hooked. It turned out to be the most expensive pass of my life to date.

I found a 2021 SRT Super Stock in silver/black hood, laguna leather with 6000 miles. Had photos sent and the car is immaculate (never even had a burn out evident by the rear wheel wells). Received on Thursday.

Anyone want to but a 2011 Corvette?

yup double down on I have issues... my best pass on the 1/8th was a 6.72 at 103... huge MPH difference still love it though

My last fast car before going hellcat / redeye was a 2005 GTO LS2 procharged car... this is more friendly to the wallet.

I also had an 05 GTO. Next was a 2009 Corvette Z51, then and still 2011 Corvette Grand Sport. I have definitely lost my mind to spend this kind of money on a car
but what a car!!!

The way I drove his car was Race Mode/Interchiller on/ Shallow staged Stall to 1700/ stick it. No launch control etc.

I don't, I just try not to let anything build up for long aka I wash the damned thing a lot

I went the other direction. Sold the Hellcat for a C8... goes 0-60 almost a full second faster than a Redeye and costs 30k less

Me too, but back in 2019. I couldn't take the crappy work at my local Cadillac dealer so switched to Dodge. So far so good.

it’s fun ride but other than being very raw and agile (3300lbs) it’s hard to compare it to the Hellcat. 🍻

Vette market is still pretty strong. Slowly weakening but plenty of millenials with money to burn. Should have no problem selling it.

The JB I had on order was 108k MSRP. After tax, tag, delivery and loan interest, it came out close to 120k. The 90k on the C8 was the out the door price. The JB order I had was no ADM... so if you add the standard 15-20k ADM to it, then it's close to a GT:R's base price in actual cost. That's why I've said many times that, even though I was going to buy it, I really wasn't happy about the price vs. what you actually get because there's no way the car is worth that kind of money for as old and dated as it is.
