What's really embarrassing is how absolutely pathetically slow that GT500 driver was shifting and how bad he launched too.
Man there is like a huge gap in time between 1st and 2nd gear, and all the other gears too.
Guy apparently doesn't know how to speed shift.
He's lucky his GT500 was modded, clearly the only way he would of won that race, because Miss Daisy could of shifted faster.

gt500 sounded like they all sound...didnt sound too beefed up....but yea its not stock

more of a rip on the M6 on my part....i feel the race would have been different against a A8....notice how the HC got a good launch vs the gt500's

its a good race...until 1/2 way through when the HC is like standing still and being passed by like its nothing

as far as me bashing the HC......i havent done that in many months....not since ive had some time with mine...i own both and enjoy both.......i know my A8 HC is faster.....i dont think a M6 HC would be faster though.....

its so bad i think its possible........how can it be ahead, then keeping up, then just drop off the screen....the HC typically advances further with higher speeds....it almost looks like the HC put the brakes on.....all the videos we see are A8's.....im wondering if M6's dont do well at higher speeds

Most pathetic shifting I've ever heard on the part of the GT500. From the video, it looks like the HC aborted. I don't think an M6 Hellcat would of beaten a modified 2013+ GT500 regardless, but I don't think it would of just been left like that either. Depending on what was done to that GT500, it probably could of beaten an A8 Hellcat also. Maybe not with that driver, but I think bolt on GT500 would with a decent driver should be able to do the job against a stock Hellcat.


Just read the description on youtube. The GT500 is making 680rwhp. That sounds like it has a throttle body (most likely a Ford racing dual 65mm), an intake and tune.

I don't believe it. The GT was shifting slow as mud. I say the HC wasn't trying or chose to stop for some reason. Videos like this are like a lamppost to a drunk - something to lean on.

I don't even think they were racing. the gt 500 didn't sound like he was into the throttle .something didn't look right lol.watch the hellcat font end doesn't even lift on shifts.my cat has been built for almost 2 weeks waiting for it to get here.there is tons of gt500 in this town and R8s lambos couple MP4s many vetts I have seen 3 new zo6s so far this summer. A guy I work with has a 2014 gt500.and there is only 75,000 people here.big oil town. When my cat comes in and I get through the break in I will start posting vids.and every one wants to run around here!
