I cant seem to find the maintenance chart with the fluid flush intervals for any 6.2L

Im going by the 6.4 (I'm building my binder, similar to aircraft maintenace forms, for a 22 Super Stock), same with inspection check lists etc.

Is there anything extra for routine MX and INSP for the 6.2?

I mean, they all try that, but I plan on doing things myself, like inspections, oil analysis (for trans or rear). I do build binders for each car, and its nice to have them listed....Just would be nice to actually find them in the manual, not just the 5.7 or the 6.4.

Im flattered lol. Im probablyold enough to be your dad though. But I dont do this because I'm enshrining a car. I have too many and I do all my own repairs, and I have to keep track of their status and write ups somehow....

Don't know what year of car you have but my 2020 Scat Pack owners manual covers both the 6.4l and 6.2l engines (along with the 3.6l and 5.7l engines).

Attached a few pages from my digital copy of the owners manual.

Appreciate it. Yeah, thats the same as the 6.4L, which is still a good answer, if they were the same. Makes life easier actually because I dont have to think, just copy and paste from the Scat Pack.

So you bought one? I see by all the posts I thought you were waiting on the survey?
Not yet, but these silly maintenance manuals are annoying to build up. I am ocd about it (not in the cool way), so I just want to have it done, printed when the car is ready or rather when the bank is ready (although theres issues on that front, because why not have a coronary over a car...lol)

The engines are sealed for life, oil is only added when necessary and only drained during D level maintenance. If you change too early your engine will not be able to adapt to the new oil composition and you risk catastrophic failure, After D check you need to break in the engine again.

Thats what I needed. Stuff like that. I was about to change the oil after break in 500 miles, to get the shavings and stuff out. I have to go talk to the techs and see what they say. I wont lie, it bugs me knowing that silvery bits may be floating around in the pan...

what shavings? People act like these things go from machining to assembly.

There are not "shavings" but particles during break-in period that will get in the oil. Its been the case for any new assembly. Get an oil sample to see how much, but either way, oil has to be replaced after break in. Unless there is something else Dodge does, i.e. breaking in the engine prior to installation (I know some mfg-ers that do that)

Yeah, thats for checking leaks, and head bolt torque, etc, but there are particulates, metals coming off as you drive it. I did find the break in procedure online, at for Scats its 500, but for Cats they call for 1500. If I get my cat, thats what I will be doing...if I ever hit 1500 lol. Barely able to put those kinds of miles between all the classic cars and all.
