Just placed my order with Koons and got my VON! After going through other dealerships and dealing with back and forth on "mandatory " dealer options I gave up. Easiest dealer experience by far!

Here's hoping Dodge comes through with a HCWB B5 manual!

That code is applied from the factory, not the dealership. Once the order is accepted and moved to either C or D, that is when that code would be added.
So did they changed the procedure just for the manual transmission car orders? Up until now the 5N9 Guaranteed Order showed immediately on the POC upon placing the order not when it was picked up and moved into production status.

A Tesla Plaid matches OG Demon easily.

Guys in their 20's today will be fawning over JDM ricers in 30+ years, not 2010-2020 era tributes to 70's muscle cars.
Most likely won't even be in to ICE cars. You don't miss what you've never had.
A Tesla Plaid is a fast golf cart. Not even in same category as a HP ice that you can smell hear and feel.

I guess you don't take your cars to show or cars and coffee (or the strip). I do. I get MANY MANY young kids (teens through 20s) who LOVE HP ICE cars, know what they are and want one "when they get older/can afford one". Many also say they prefer ICE over silent movie cars. Will there be young (and old) ppl who prefer EV over Ice? sure. Will ICE soon be dead and no one under 50 will care? Forgetaboutit. Not happening in anyone's lifetime who just read these words.

If I have to explain all of this to you its probably best just to agree to disagree.

As for not missing what u didn't have. I wasn't born in or around the muscle car era. But I sure as hell wanted one as a teenager. So I think you are selling these kids short. In fact, I know you are. EV is a soulless option, esp for HP (non-daily driver needs).

You can add Aston Martin, Porsche GT series, and Audi R8 to the crazy- moneyFerrari / manual trans list of sports cars. Not a fluke, accident or once-in-a-while anomaly, these cars get real money every sale.
Vipers....ALL OF EM...have exploded...all are manuals

Yes. Viper is extraordinary! Just in the last year they are gaining huge traction. If one wants a blue chip car purchase, cannot go wrong with a gen1/2 Viper. Although they have doubled in price the last 4-6 quarters, they have a long way to go considering the limited build volume and very high (at the time) MSRP. They were designed as a spiritual successor to the Shelby Cobra so you can understand the relationship. And yes, Carroll had a hand in the process.

Not a huge giant aero wing fan so gen 3 is my favorite with the more modern look, especially the 2006 Arrow VOI9 unicorn coupe (with only 9 built and close to 700HP delivered as new to the customer).

Can't go wrong any gen Viper tho...

Gen 3 is just around the corner, value wise. Folks just waking up to Vipers not in the $30k range anymore. These were and are really cool cars, much lower build numbers than Corvette as an example, but also much more expensive at the time.

I love the Viper love in this thread :) Will be a hard day if I ever had to get rid of it. Thought about selling recently and quickly came back to my senses.

GREAT NEWS!!! FINALLY THE TIME HAS COME!! THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION CHALLENGER HELLCAT ENGINE JUST OPENED UP FOR ORDERING IN BOTH NARROW BODY AND WIDEBODY!!!! AND BEST OF ALL, WE STILL HAVE AVAILABLE ALLOCATION!!

We are doing the first 5 orders at MSRP.

Please go to Dodge.com, build out your ideal Hellcat and email the PDF to koonsgroupbuy@koons.com or koonsgroupbuy@gmail.com
Great news, a Hellcat with an automatic is not a true performance car, period. I’m on my 3rd manual Challenger, 2nd Hellcat, and NEVER considered automatic, period .

From what I’ve read you still have to find and contact a dealership that ((((STILL HAS ALLOCATIONS ))))before you can approach them with ((((YOUR CUSTOM REQUEST)))) might be easier said than done at this point in time….

Oh I’ll also add that the only other option I was interested in was the performance spoiler. My salesman said that was not available to add to my build. Also hood pins but I was in the fence with those anyways after seeing how some of them were hacked into the hood by the upfitters.
Koons told me the SRT Performance Spoiler will come with the package. That's why the option was greyed out in the system.
Do we really know if it's true?

I received my VON when I ordered Monday. No VIN yet. Reached out to stellantis and they see that my order was placed and said I should receive an email within 30 days confirming my last call model.
