@DodgeCares - Who can I call to get an activation code for the map update that I bought for my car? Everyone I speak to says 2-4 weeks because someone messed up and sent out a batch of updates that had previously used serial numbers. This doesn't seem like something that should take a month to figure out and fix for the customers who spent the silly money to update their maps in their cars. I'm going on a cross country trip Wends for which I bought a map update since the one in my car is 6 years old. My car does not link to my phone as it's not new enough and I don't feel like having to use it. Please give me a number of someone that can fix this ASAP.

FYI for anyone else whom may have done the same. If you get the "serial number is already in use" error when trying to get your activation code it is because you were sold a Map update with the same serial number as someone else and it's already been used (from what I've been told). And apparently we have to wait for them to "make another batch" of serial numbers. Dumbest thing I've ever heard. This is a couple hour problem to resolve as you aren't "making" anything. You are just unlocking a serial number!

I had the same problem with my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Connect Navigation Map Update 8.4AN (RA4). I tried to register my product via the Activation Code Generation Instructions instruction going to the website and each time I got the same message "serial number already in use" even though I bought the Map directly from them. There is a phone number with the instructions: 1-866-462-8837. Call that number and press option #4 which is to get an Activation code. I talked to an operator and she said the problem only came up recently with Chrysler cars, and she is spending the next couple of days e-mailing the correct codes. She told me there's nothing wrong with the USB drive, but Chrysler made a mistake with the Product Serial. No codes and she would e-mail me a correct code within a day. She said this has happened to many people recently after I ask her why were they selling Maps with product serial codes that didn't work. Call that number and complain, and they should give you a correct Product serial number within 1-2 days.
