Definitely Matte Black, at least for me. It's a nice contrast to the pearl orange.

Carbon fiber looks nice as well if you get the black version.

Buddy of mine had the cf stripes on his charger and he got wax in them once and either didn't notice or didn't car and once he did it had stained the black. Total area of less than a square inch but it drove him nuts. Looks great. Requires some meticulous attention.

This kit has the 3M Wet Install in Matte Black. I have a guy willing to install and ceramic coat the stripes for 300. So total would come out to 550? Should I do it.

Matte black all day long. As @Ron b mentioned; it provides a nice contrast. $550 seems about a fair price... Are you doing standard double stripes down the center of the car or something unique?

Is the matte black you have look black in every lighting or does it turn gray. I just don’t want gray stripes.
To me it does, I also had them ceramic coated along with the rest of the which also makes the look "wet" and a little darker.

Color is subjective, my advice to you is to buy some matte black samples off of Amazon/ebay from the different manufacturers and types (3m 1080/2080, Avery Supercast, Supreme) as each one varies slightly especially with matte black.

They only cost a couple of bucks and you'll be able to compare them side by side and see which one You like best, which after all is the only thing that matters.

What about the black carbon fiber that avery has? Would that be darker than matte black?

How did you decide on the Avery Supercast over the 3M 1080?

I think it was 2018 when I first saw a Go Mango Challenger up close. It had the black carbon fiber looking stripes from the factory. I thought it looked awesome. Matte black would be a distant second choice IMO.....
