Armed Forces Day is for those still in their uniform.
Veterans Day is for those who hung up their uniform.
Memorial Day is for those who never made it out of their uniform.
To all the men, women and families of those that never made it home:
Police, Fire and Rescue, Military...my heartfelt thank you goes out to you this Monday.
My dad entered WW2 at the age of 17, just a kid.
Fortunely he made it home. He never wanted to be considered a hero. He told me his heroes were the ones that
didnt come back. Some were his high school buddies.
As bad as our country may seem, between a hot dog and a beer, please think about your precious freedom
and know some young kid gave his life for you.
