I found 2 of these tires brand new.
are they the ones most are using on widebody challengers that use Michelin to hook up better on the street
I have tried looking it up but no definitive answer.
Thanks in advance for any help

FWIW, I bought a set of the Michelin All Season 4's (AS4) for my BMW SUV two months before I bought a set of PS4S for my Hellcat. It's a good tire but the PS4S is better suited for the performance aspect of your Hellcat.

My problem is I was driving today about 50 miles from home taking the wife out to eat. We noticed a tire had a nail in it. The tire needs replaced. I have the pirelli summer tires on it that it came with new. About 2300 miles on them.
I can replace the one tire or switch to Michelin ps4s tires now. The dealership had these Michelin that someone ordered and they was going to return them tomorrow.
As I understand the ps4s are out of stock now.

I need to decide which way to go but I need traction like most redeye owners do.

My 2020 Scat Pack came with the Pirelli high performance (summer) tires. They are great. Tons better than the Pirelli all season tires that came with my Hellcat.

My advice would be to just replace the punctured tire with the same tire and drive on.

Then when the current tires need replacing then you can consider switching brands.

Michelin comes in for high praise. I have not run Michelin tires on my Dodge cars but I ran them -- the high performance version -- on one of my Porsche cars for a number of years and the Michelin tires proved to be quite good. As good as the high performance Pirelli tires I ran at other times. But the difference was not that much and unless the Michelin tires were priced within $100 or less of the Pirelli tires I'd chose to run the Pirelli tires.

Well I had decided to just replace the one tire if necessary.
I pulled the nail out and it turned out to be a rivet pin. Luckily it didn't actually puncture the tire so no need to replace the tire.
Thank you all for the replies and advice.

No AS tire is gonna hold the power these have. I opted to go with BFG AS vs a Michelin since I have had good luck w/BFG tires on many cars. My Hellcat is my DD so I needed these for 3 seasons. Otherwise, I would have gone summer tire. I have a dedicated winter setup.

No regrets on my decision. Night & day traction difference over the POS factory Pirelli AS.
