Hellcats!!! You have those in common...I am clearly the Northwest, its a no brainer where I am, only parts of Alaska would be more Northwest than I am...LOL

No worries! I just saw that no one had posted and thought I would be a smarty pants, since I do that well, and indicate that I am glad I am easily identified because I would probably screw it up!! You all have awesome Thoroughbreds there. My dad was at the Kentucky Derby when Secretariat won! Beautiful State!!

SD Minnesota Iowa Nebraska they are central and Michigan Ohio Indiana is really mid-east not mid-west. Mid-west is Montana and Wyoming Colorado. Always wondered who designated areas.

Naw, I think we are just having fun and I am now much clearer on where exactly Kentucky considers itself in the scheme of the US. I found it to be very educational while waiting for my Hellcat to arrive. Thanks

Well, I'm actually a transplant to Kentucky. I'm a son of retired Marine born in San Diego and also raised in New Orleans. Then after retiring from Army came to live in late wife's (she was also retired Army) hometown here outside Ft Knox Kentucky. So I guess I prefer all southern Cal, southern LA and Kentucky (south).

I am from the NW suburbs of Chicago but spend a bit of time drilling for Oil in Kentucky. It is a good time looking for the black gold. It has the shallowest oil in the world. You can hit oil in as little as 400'. I plan on going to the Summerset Drag strip in Summerset, KY when the weather improves. It gets warm down there long before we do up here.
