I'm asking this for a friend.
The battery was dead in the Hellcat and when the jumper cables were placed on the battery the red cap had been placed over the negative terminal so that's where the positive side of the cable went it was connected like this for 3 to 5 seconds.
The battery has been replaced the car starts, but the information screen is out ,no radio, heat and fan work, passenger window goes up and down drivers side went down but will not go up.
What damage did my friend do? Any thoughts? Please keep the big dummy comments to your selves my friend is very sensitive.

Well, some body's a big dummy. :p

Seriously though, let the car sit for a few and see if the electronics pick up the new battery. TBH - sounds like fried computer though.

One other piece of advice... the Battery Neg Terminal is ALWAYS the last connected and the FIRST removed... ALWAYS! This protects the system and prevents Sparks at the battery terminals. Same goes for jumper cables if every used. One of the Negative Connections (either vehicle or battery) is the last connected and the first disconnected.

Best!

A good habit when making the last jumper connection it to quickly and lightly scrape the negative clamp against a ground surface. If you see a whole bunch of sparks, recheck the connections!
