RPMs would be 6,500, 6.200 connecting rod length on a 4.00 Stroke Crankshaft. I went with a 422 over a 426 mainly to have a better rod angle. There are a few variables to to pin a HP rating on rods. Engine RPMS, rod angle, piston/pin weight, etc
That should be the information a engineer at Molnar will need to give you an answer, hopefully.RPMs would be 6,500, 6.200 connecting rod length on a 4.00 Stroke Crankshaft. I went with a 422 over a 426 mainly to have a better rod angle.
They’re H-beam
I think your best bet is to contact Molnar and speak to them . Their rods are really good ( I have a set in my engine) .RPMs would be 6,500, 6.200 connecting rod length on a 4.00 Stroke Crankshaft. I went with a 422 over a 426 mainly to have a better rod angle.

I agree with this .They are H beam probably around 1000-1200 or so. I beams you can squeeze more out of them. The problem with H beam is that they tend to split in the middle and almost looks like they get delaminated. They are great for 99.9999999% of the cars that are on here for a rebuild. Never checked, but how many main bolts are there?
Yeah, that would consider a 4 bolt main.I agree with this .
Also the gen 3 Hemi is a cross bolted block mean it had 2 main bolts in from the bottom and 2 smaller ones in from the side on all 5 main caps .

I don't know as I have never dynoed the car . But I will be at the track this weekend so I will tell you how it does in the 1/4 mile .How much rwhp are you currently at?
Interesting, I was alway under the impression that H Beams were typically better but this is from seeing my dad build motors 6-7 years ago on SBCs.They are H beam probably around 1000-1200 or so. I always post time slips in my build thread.Sounds good! Saw your signature and those are some great times. Definitely let me know
Molnar Rods work fine in my Redeye. I like rpm's. Stock cam is probably out of power range at 6500 but i have it shift at 6850. Car runs 9.60's on E85 at 4800lbs. After doing a search on Tom Molnar. I knew i was buying Molnar rods and crank for my engine. He has been in the Connecting rod business for many years.Sounds good! Saw your signature and those are some great times. I know they’re a reputable brand but just like anything else, they do have a limit.Molnar Rods work fine in my Redeye. I like rpm's.
