What mod's?

One possible explanation is if you have a aftermarket pulley on the supercharger and it is not clutched when you let off the gas the inertia of the spinning supercharger causes a sudden shock to the accessory drive system which can cause a problem. If not a broken belt then I guess a broken tensioner.
I have upper 2.65 lower 10%ati 1000cc injectors. First I thought it was a broken belt( it was shredded) the we looked closer the tensioner was broken and the damper moved as well replaced the tensioner and one pull it broke again and my power steering pump seized and again it’s my black belt not green
Maybe you should hit #hpindy up about the underdrive pulley for the acc belt on the ati..

Why do people do this? are smaller pulleys too small to FIT a clutch? I agree that this would be a cause of stress avoided by the factory engineers by using a clutched pulley.

You said the Damper moved? Is your crank pinned?

If it's not, I almost guarantee that you spun the hub on the crank and it backed out. This would either,

1) Spin the crank on the hub and it would walk the belt off and shred it.
2) Stop the belt completely and the inertia of the sudden stop would shred it.

If not that then, did you install the spacer on the pensioner for the accessory belt?
Yea crank is pinned now it’s doubled pinned

Are you running the stock size accessory serpentine belt? I do not think a metco pulley would cause this, you would hear more from others having the same issue, and it is not the sc belt jumping off.. . I am curious what you meant by damper moved..... and your power steering pump seized...... ?
Maybe the ps pump is causing it all?
I'm not sure it'll help, but I put a demon serp. belt tensioner on mine with green belt and I recall someone saying the demon tensioner spring is stronger and won't let as much slip. This is happening to your black belt? Its prob worn down and stretched pretty bad with those mods.
Lots of confusion here...
Accessory belt
Tensioner keeps breaking
Power steering pump is locked up.

Sc belt is not coming off.

Thats where we are currently.

Your accessories are spinning at the same speed as stock regardless of sc pulley size or ATI lower, and run from the crank on their own pulley. A chop off the throttle should not effect that belt.

1. A bad tensioner is ruled out, since 2nd time
2. PS pump is locked up, was it going bad and dragging on the belt?
3. Belt is routed correctly and you had it in the grooves on every pulley?

This is not a common problem on modded hellcats.....

I was referring to the accessory drive belt. The green belt is stronger and at least for a while better able to take the stress.

If the power steering pump seized that's not likely due to broken belt but more likely the cause of it and the broken tensioner.

Accessories are not spinning at the factory speed, unless the ATI 10% OD does not OD the accessories and only the blower. Is that the case?

This is incorrect.

Accessories are spinning factory speed from an ATI, it only 10% overdrives the SC belt.

Thank you for clarifying.
I guess SrtDex707 lost interest.....
nah just been busy but I’ve done a few pulls and have been driving it daily and the tensioner is holding up so we’ll see
