Model Year Change
Just found out a little info on Dodge's plans for the change over form 2022 Model Year to 2023 Model Year. August is supposed to be the last month to place an order for 2022 Challengers or Chargers of any trim. They are taking September off of ordering and will begin 2023 ordering in October. This is the plan of record for the time being. Always keep in mind that plans are changing often in the current production climate.

Color Options Changing
We are losing three colors effective immediately. They are replacing the colors below with new ones that are yet to be determined. We will see what happens maybe a green, a new purple, and grey. We will keep you updated as any news comes out. Hopefully roadkill nights will bring out some good info.

I was making a joke but it’s true that pitch black is the leading color by a million.

For sure. Black isn't going anywhere, best selling color of all time. But at least it's one black and not 8 different shades like gray. I just dont understand the fascination with gray. Do they really need more than silver and maybe charcoal? Actually I guess so, grays are a hot seller so...🤷‍♂️

Its the best selling because its the most dealer ordered. As in the dealer orders more black cars then just about any other color. Black is actually a very unpopular color. And to me seems like the "its the only color they have" color as to why they sell so many. I know many many car guys that ended up with a black version of the car they wanted because it was all they could get. But just pure want, I bet black is much lower down the list than other colors. Same with silver.

Nah I disagree. I bet you the most popular JB color is black; 95% of those cars are customer orders.

White and Black are the most popular car colors period.... And I HATE white.

Dealers order it because it sells. People whine here but trust me, black sells like crazy. I'm in the business and just this week I lost a sale because the vehicle wasnt black.

I think you are spot on there. Just something to keep an eye on Jeep just came out with Earl Grey and Reign Purple. They may steal those colors for Dodge to replace those on the way out.
