So I how (unnecessarily) strict this state is, but for my other cali HC owners out there, what engine mods have you done that still pass state inspections?

Im looking to change CAI, Exhaust as an example, and i was told by another HC owner in my town that you'd have to revert back to stock just to pass emissions.

As long as you don't touch the emissions portion (cats) of your exhaust you're fine. So a "cat back" exhaust system is fine. Also JLT sells an intake that comes with a CARB sticker.

ScLeco just stepping in here as long as you leave cats alone can you install tuned pcm and leaving 2016 m6 all stock with new recalled cats wich are more restrictive will that pass and if so any idea what improvment in performance i may expect. Dont want to change anything else iam fine with factory cai. I was going to get new pcm from hpp tuners and have my tuner guy put on dyno and tune do you think it will wake it up with these new recalled cats . That recall quieted this car down and pulled some performance. Any thoughts thanx iam on the fence do tuner or leave it alone .it ran better before recall still runs good but ran better before.

Some know what they are looking for, other just want to 30 day you. I have had a friend get state ref for just having a Cold air intake.

Yeah. Idk why he let them… but for me, anytime I drive by a P.O, I put the car into eco and just cruise out of their POV. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

@Bay650 Tapatalk is an app that someone can use to keep many forums in one place.

The Techno Cell phones are from overseas and we have had many of the Nigerian scammers using them.

The blasted out had sent a personal PM trying the fake "My friend has this part" call this number.

Anytime someone gets a PM and they think it might be a scammer just report it so we can see what is going on.!

Everyone has been really great looking out for the forum members and reporting scammer. Many times we Mods get PM showing PM's of a scammer.

Oh dope! I might download that app. Kinda hate having to type into safari the forum url, every time I want to open it! And yeah **** scammers. I posted some stuff for sale on Facebook marketplace, and the first dozen interested people wanted to send me a check 😔. Like com on, I just want to sell my stuff and move on.

Have mods look at my deleted private messages. Got another one yesterday. If person contacting me supposedly having parts has less than 10 posts I delete

@SickToo MODS can not see anyone's Private Message. I have had members report them to me by sending me a PM with a copy of the message. Which would also show the scammers member name.
Then we can ban them.

@Bay650 I would investigate the Tappatalk app and there are also other similar apps too.
I'm not sure why but I have known several people who hate the app.
