Often these “news” articles are extremely misleading because their primary purpose is to attract readers, not convey scientific information.

Most “most stolen” lists often look exactly like the “most sold” list. When they properly account for number of cars on the road and calculate the % stolen of each model, only then we know which cars are truly at risk.

I tend to believe the ones that list the HC high on the list are doing proper calculations.
