I had a 2014 V6 Honda Accord(which got replaced by the 392 Charger) and still have a '09 Jeep Wrangler JKU for offroading. The serious white people problem I have now is that the Jeep is just so painful to drive now. The charger is loaded with comfort, features, and let's face it awesome power that the Jeep is just sitting in the garage. Used to be I would commute in the Honda and ramble around in the Jeep all weekend, but now I just want to drive the 392; its so bad I don't even want to drive the Jeep to off roading spots. What's out there or coming out that I could fetch to replace the Jeep. looking for off-road capability with performance? Thinking about ordering a 2017 Ford Raptor(but worried that the rumors of the 2018 with a turbo v8 instead of v6 are true) and the Cherokee SRT just can't cut it off road like a Wranger.

Get a hemi swapped into the Jeep? ;)

When I traded in my Challenger Core for the Rubicon it took me a week before I regretted the new lack of power. Now I commute in the Jeep and it's painful. If I need to pass or get out of the way? Ugh. And the transmission is about as smooth as a bed of nails. But for offroading? This is pretty fun. I also have a CJ-7 with the old AMC 401 in it, so it's got boatloads of torque. But the Rubi has oodles of comfort compared to that, so my family will actually come with.

I've considered the hemi swap as a backup plan if I can't get a Hellcat this year and want to wait until it all dies down.

I bought my daughter a new 2012 Challenger 392 in blue with silver stripes (her college colors) fully optioned. I take care of all the maintenance so I have driven this beast often. Nothing can compare with a full size touring car with so much power on tap. My 20 year old vette will find a new home this year and in 2017 (when all the craziness settles down) I will order a hellcat charger. My wife and I (and our two cats) will be taking some road trips hitting some of the finest car shows and cruises in the eastern seaboard. Good luck with the 392.

Curious, what's the white people problem?

I’m glad I have a compass trailhawk as it has the heated seats and steering wheel so driving it doesn’t sadden me too much. At 180hp it’s pretty gutless but I’m the snow you can flick it just about anywhere you want. So it makes not driving my summer car not as bad

My daily driver is a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Trailhawk edition with the 5.7 HEMI and it has plenty of stones, in fact I’m thinking of modding the Jeep once the Kat’s Lease is up.

I too have an older jkur lifters and on larger tires. I actually commute in the Jeep all winter and on top down days in the summer.

It’s tough to go from a hellcat one day and a Jeep the next! I just look at it as a day with no speeding ticket risk!
