I'm just back home from driving my '22 Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody in Hellraisin aka "Plumcat" back from Ky to Texas. I thought it might be worthwhile to share my experience with Dan Cummins in Paris, Ky. seeing as how many are still wanting to order a car for 2023.

I began the process back in February with Jake. I ordered the car over the phone, put down a $1.000.00 deposit and the wait began. Subsequent to that event, Jake exited Cummins and I would be less than truthful if I were to say that I didn't experience just a bit of trepidation at his departure.

I was worried that the deal I had struck with Jake would go completely awry, or might be revised to my detriment.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Joel called me two days after Jake's departure to confirm the terms and conditions of my deal. We discussed some other assurances that were provided me and those proved to be no issue at all.

Joel was very helpful as was the entire staff at Dan Cummins. My car was prepped to my specifications, they paid for my Uber from the airport to the dealership, and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Joel paired my phone for me, sent me the UConnect info prior to my departure from Houston and even downloaded my driving directions home on my app.

There were times during the entire process when I felt the car wouldn't be built at all, but some gentle persistent pushing with Dodge got me and the car over the finish line.

I left the dealership with a full tank of gas and a smile on my face and had a wonderful drive home though some beautiful parts of this great country.

Now I realize everyone has their own story to relate, but this is mine and I'm here to say that my experience at this dealership was nothing short of stellar from start (Jake) to finish (with Joel).

Also, I was a cash buyer and honestly, Dan Cummins has the better deal if you're paying cash. Better than those other guys up the road. I did the math and the numbers didn't lie, forgetting the great service I received from both Jake an Joel at Dan Cummins.

I agree, they are awesome. If anyone at all has questions, just call Dan Cummins & ask for Martin Mazetti. He's the sales manager and a really great guy, he worked out the deal for my car over a year ago & we still keep in touch. He oversees the sales people there & will do whatever it takes to make you a happy camper.

Martin and Jake are both great guys and Dan Cummins is an above average dealership. Just don't expect to get the under invoice deal on another vehicle. It's a once and done thing there.

Not true. It depends on what other vehicle you want. Some are in short supply & some aren't. Dan cummins as a whole sells Chevrolet, Buick, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, etc. Discounts vary.

100% this. I ordered my wife’s 2022 Durango from them 6 months after I took delivery of my Hellcat and got the same discount as my Hellcat. Dan Cummins is the only place I’ll by a Dodge from. Not a GM fan or I’d buy one of those from them too, lol.

Your not the first person to mention a paid Uber ride from Lexington. Is this a common thing? That’s over an hour ride. Pretty cool they did that for you. I might use that option myself.

Maybe it's just from the one Cummins dealership, but I tried to order a Redeye in March. They said no because I got one at the discount last year. Asked if I could order a TRX, same answer. Had to order a Redeye and a TRX from a different dealership.

I left the dealership with a full tank of gas...
Forgot to mention these 2 points on my review of DC, but I got the same treatment. Did not expect the full tank of gas!

I didn’t end up ordering from Cummings but I did talk to Jake a few times about the JB. He was straight forward and I wouldn’t hesitate to order from him. I Jiat went with a local dealer though and didn’t want to deal with the shipping or drive. They were straight up too aboit the allocation process. Was told they didn’t have one but I’d be on a list for the next one.

Beautiful car Houston!! Glad the experience was a good one for you. I’ll throw Lindsey and Wade name in there too. Just good ol country folk who are very personable. i’m having my car shipped to the ceramic guys up here in michigan and they set that up for me as well. I too was disappointed about jake’s exit but glad he landed on solid ground. I owe him a lot for getting this whole thing lit!
